"Are you sure it's safe to bring a baby a lot to this trip?" Victor asked from the driver's seat.
"He's her Great-grand-nephew," Alyssa said as she waved her hand in the air. "Plus it's coven tradition to present a newborn to the elders before they turn a month old."
Helena wasn't quite sure if her mother was telling the truth, but she truly felt like she could trust Dora.
"I remember when Helena was born, her father insisted we present her as soon as I was able," Alyssa recounted. "As an heir to the Grand Warlock, there are more threats to them if they aren't presented and accepted into the coven. Though I'm not sure what applies now since technically in terms of rank Helena has the highest."
"I'm sure Grandmama Dora won't mind explaining to us," Helena said as she stroked the top of Ronan's head.
Like last time Dora had been expecting their arrival, but this time she was waiting up front with her mate.
