For the first time since he was born, Ronan was being a difficult baby.
He cried throughout the night and refused to sleep no matter what Helena tried to do.
So when Rae knocked on her door, telling her that Dora had arrived, it took all her willpower to roll off the bed and get dressed.
Ronan once again burst into tears when Helena tried to leave him with Rae.
Eventually, she was forced to bring the now-sleeping boy with her to meet with Dora on the rooftop.
"I'm sorry, but he wouldn't stop crying," Helena told Dora as she greeted the Witch.
"No worries, dear," Dora said. "The magic we will be using today won't harm him. If anything it will soothe him."
Helena nodded as she fixed the straps on the harness that kept Ronan on her chest.
"How much magic do you normally use?" Dora asked.
"None," Helena admitted. "Since Dad died I've actually repressed that part of me. I do use it every month at least since holding back the power makes me feel itchy."
