Avril listened calmly to Jack's plea for a reunion on the phone, while strangely calm. It was very weird. It had only been a week, but she felt like Jack had betrayed her an eternity ago.
"Jack," Avril interrupted him calmly.
"Listen to me."
Jack thought that she had changed her mind and secretly felt relief in his heart.
Angie had broken up with him and was avoiding him. Now he was only coming to use Avril as a back-up.
Avril took a deep breath, then raised her voice and yelled at the phone, "Jack! You're a j*rk. You're a d*mned rat in the stinking ditch. Hurry up and disappear from my life! I don't want to see you anymore! A shameless man like you is worse than a stray dog. Even a dog knows how to be shameful. But you, you're worse than a b*ast!"
