The chaos in the Seireitei continues, with Ichigo and the others fighting their respective battles.
After Aaron left the Phoenix Palace alone, he strolled unhurriedly toward the Central 46 Chambers.
When he first heard from Ōetsu Nimaiya that Aizen had been killed, Aaron decided to investigate how far Aizen's schemes had progressed.
As he leisurely approached the Central 46 Chambers, he felt a surge of immense Reiatsu emanating from behind him. Turning to face it, he saw Zaraki Kenpachi and Kusajishi Yachiru.
Faced with such an unexpected encounter, Aaron sighed in resignation.
"Ajian! Ajian! Is he the one who defeated that bald guy?" Yachiru exclaimed, jumping off Zaraki's shoulder and pointing at Aaron with curiosity.
"I'm not sure, but he looks strong," Zaraki replied, eyeing Aaron with growing interest.
Hearing their exchange, Aaron quickly pieced together the situation.
It seems these two haven't crossed paths with Ichigo yet.
At that moment, he felt Unohana's Reiatsu emanating from the direction of the Central 46 Chambers. Recognition flashed in Aaron's eyes.
"So, Unohana has noticed something," he murmured.
"Hey! You look strong. Fight me!" Zaraki called out eagerly, his excitement palpable.
Standing beside him, Yachiru tugged on Zaraki's sleeve. "Ajian, I don't feel any Reiatsu from him. Are you sure?"
"Yachiru, trust my instincts. This guy's strong!" Zaraki grinned, his battle hunger growing.
"Alright, alright. If it makes you happy," Yachiru said with a shrug before leaping onto a nearby rooftop to sit and watch.
"Draw your blade and fight me!" Zaraki bellowed.
Aaron ignored him, glancing toward the source of Ichigo's rapidly intensifying Reiatsu.
Zaraki hasn't fought Ichigo yet, but Unohana's presence near the Central 46 Chambers suggests something unusual. Could Ichimaru Gin's death have altered the chain of events?
Regardless, Aaron was confident that the final confrontation would still occur at the Sōkyoku Hill, where Aizen would unveil his plans.
Zaraki's Reiatsu flared as he prepared for battle, surging like a tidal wave toward Aaron. With a slight frown, Aaron vanished, leaving behind only an afterimage.
"Boom!"
The sound of impact rang out as Zaraki was sent flying backward without warning.
"Ajian!" Yachiru called out in concern from the rooftop.
"Hahahaha! You're stronger than I thought!" Zaraki shouted as he picked himself up, tearing off his eyepatch with a grin. "Good! Now I don't have to hold back. Come at me with everything you've got!"
Aaron observed Zaraki's enthusiasm with amusement, shaking his head as he slowly unsheathed his Zanpakutō. With a single swing, he unleashed a strike at Zaraki's position.
Zaraki, free from the restraints of his eyepatch, felt exhilaration coursing through him. For the first time in ages, he had encountered a truly formidable opponent.
However, the world around him suddenly began to shift.
The once-solid ground beneath Zaraki's feet transformed into a desolate, blood-soaked battlefield. Corpses were piled high in a grisly mountain, and the air was thick with the metallic tang of blood. At the peak of the mound stood Yachiru, her back to him, giggling eerily.
"Yachiru? Where are we?" Zaraki asked, his curiosity tinged with unease.
"Ajian, does it hurt?" Yachiru replied, her voice light and unsettling.
Before he could answer, Yachiru turned to face him. Her body was drenched in blood, her face reduced to a grotesque mass of rotting flesh. Her left eye socket was empty, writhing with worms.
Despite the horrifying sight, Zaraki felt no fear, only a vague discomfort.
Suddenly, the distorted Yachiru lunged at him with a feral grin.
Aaron watched from a distance, calmly sheathing his Zanpakutō. He was confident in the illusionary power of his Shikai, Taotie.
With a Reiatsu surpassing 400,000, even Yamamoto in his prime wouldn't match me. Zaraki Kenpachi, with his unrelenting thirst for battle and immunity to fear, makes the perfect subject for this experiment.
Aaron smiled as Zaraki swung his sword wildly at phantoms only he could see.
Yachiru, observing Zaraki's unusual behavior, leapt down to confront Aaron.
"Hey! What have you done to Ajian?" she demanded, hostility evident in her tone. "Stop messing with him and fight properly!"
Aaron chuckled. "He's enjoying himself, isn't he?"
Before Yachiru could argue further, an earth-shaking explosion echoed from the direction of Sōkyoku Hill.
Aaron turned toward the source of the noise, his eyes narrowing. "It's finally begun."
In a blur, he vanished, leaving behind a bewildered Yachiru and a still-battling Zaraki.
