Chapter 32 - A threat of jealousy

 "You can put it down on the ground with the other dirty dishes, I'll wash it," I told her.

She didn't look at me or respond to what I was saying.

Instead, she split the remaining contents of the plate all over the dishes I'd just washed that were now drying next to the vase. I was shocked by this she then casually dropped the plate onto the washed dishes as well and walked away. Without even saying a word to me or even acknowledging me.

As well as learning her name, I had also learned that she definitely didn't like me. Amongst the women who already didn't talk to me she was the one who was the coldest to me. If we were performing a task in order to get the job done the other women would at least acknowledge and communicate with me. Natalie however completely ignored me and acted like I didn't exist.
