Chapter 8 - CHAPTER 7

CHAPTER 7

Ravi stepped right into her personal space with his sharp stare. "The headmistress has been asking for your presence in her office, and you haven't shown up yet." He stated with a contained expression as he looked down at her.

Kaisha wanted to take a step back, but she held her ground. She couldn't understand why these two meddle in her business.

Then she recalled his question earlier. She now somehow grasped the idea. She meant to get to the office right away, but the situation in front of her could be more entertaining.

She moved forward, tilting her head up to meet his golden eyes. The golden orbs were turned dark, but it didn't make them any less attractive; instead, it looked more captivating to her than seeing the bright glow in them.

She sighed and didn't even hide the disappointment in her. She folded her arms and stared at his face. She didn't spare Derek any glance at the side. Her full attention was on the golden boy. His Highness, as the people monikered him. Added to that, having Prince in his actual name.

"Tsk. Such a waste." She was referring to his appearance, and she somehow appreciated his acts of being angry for the girl as well. "You like her? You like that girl?" Her arms were almost touching his body for how close they were standing face to face. Face to chest, actually. That was why she had to tilt her head back a little to stare straight into his eyes. Her neck was straining a bit.

The intensity in his gaze made it all more interesting.

"Yes." He hissed. "You hurt her."

The accusation didn't affect her as much. He was right. She hurt her second because Kanna attacked her first. She was the first one to make the move. Even long before, while she was still in a relationship with her stepbrother. The two had been fucking and even compared Kaisha to her.

She doesn't have any fancy feelings left for her ex. Except for hatred and disgust.

And she was having a thought of what did the girl have that these boys were drawn to her. First, it was her first crush and first love, whatever. It was in the past. And now, this golden boy that everyone admired. Even she. She admired his beauty. He could be a doll from how perfectly gorgeous he was. His beauty was blinding.

More so the way he was looking down at her. He radiated a dark aura in his anger towards her. And she was curiously lured to it.

"What do you like about her?" She finally spoke. "Is she that good in bed that you men are drawn to her?" She might appreciate his stance, but that had nothing to do with what Kanna did to her.

Ravi sucked in a sharp breath and retreated from the shock of what she said.

He stepped up again, and rage was visible in his oh-so-beautiful eyes. "You don't get to speak about her like that. You don't know anything."

She could smell his minty breath, his expensive cologne, and his aftershave from his closeness. His shirt was even grazing her folded arms in front of her. They were the only barrier between them.

Derek clutched Ravi's shoulder and tried to pry the blonde from her. But Ravi wouldn't budge, and he lightly shoved the dark-haired bastard away. Not wanting to meddle in their argument.

Kaisha met his gaze with her coldness. She wasn't enraged at him. She understood him. He was just fighting for the wrong girl. He deserved better.

"And you don't get to speak to me when you know nothing, Your Highness." She emphasized.

"You could have killed her." He exclaimed.

Oh, she wished she did. That was the first thought she had and almost said it out loud. "I'd never thought that I might kill her. She was the first to harass me. And it wasn't in my nature to just let it slide and do nothing. I just gave her a taste of what she did."

"You could be sued for attempted murder."

Kaisha snorted and waved her hands in the air as she released an exasperating breath. She couldn't believe that that was all he got from all she'd said. How blinded was he in his feelings for that conniving bitch?

"Pity. You're wasting your breath over someone like her. Tsk." She shook her head in utter dismay. She doesn't want to say anything anymore. People don't have to know the extent of the whole cause. She wouldn't want to spread her own foolishness of how her young love experience went.

How she felt betrayed by her ex-boyfriend and once closest friend.

She retreated a step to move aside, but Ravi blocked her.

"We're not done yet." He growled as he looked down at her. She almost bumped into his chest, but she maneuvered to step back in an instant.

Kaisha met his gaze. His brooding aura made her feel small, but at the same time, she was drawn to this side of him. Maybe it was the beast in her.

"We haven't even started, Mr. Kyro. Do you want to?" She poked his chest with her finger, and he didn't even waver.

"I'm not playing jokes with you, Ms. McLarren."

She blinked. He knew who she was, and she wondered where the knowledge came from. But that doesn't matter anymore, as she had more important things at hand.

"I'm not playing anything with you. But you, wasting your time on her is a joke to me. Why don't you step aside so that I could finally get to the headmistress' office? You're making me late, you know. I don't care what you have for her, but I already warned you of your foolishness. And besides, I don't answer to you, so I have nothing more to say." She scoffed and flipped her red hair behind her as she stepped to the side again.

Ravi was about to grab her, but Derek pulled him away with all his might. She didn't look back anymore at the two men. She went straight to the headmistress.

Kaisha had gotten rid of her bodyguards on the way to the office since she was already settled on the campus. They were stationed outside, though, whenever she planned on going somewhere out.

When she opened the door in her office, she was greeted with a stern face from the principal.

Of course this was coming.

"Please take a seat, Ms. McLarren. Leave us alone for a while, Gemma." The assistant nodded and left out the door.

Kaisha took the seat adjacent to her table. She remained silent. She wanted to hear what the woman wanted to say before reacting to anything.

"Kaisha, I saw in the footage that Kanna was the first who assaulted you. Do you know what triggered her to do that? The witnesses claimed that she was talking about her brother."

Her jaw twitched. This was getting out of hand. She wanted it to remain under the covers. Kanna was stupid enough to reveal that Felix was her stepbrother. The woman wanted to be the victim of what her brother did to her.

"What punishment do I get, Headmistress Stella?" She doesn't want to explain anything.

The woman looked aghast in her reply. It was a moment before she spoke again. "What happened to you, Ms. McLarren? You weren't like this three years ago. You've become violent and snarky."

"I was…" She took a deep breath and sighed. "I was assaulted first, as you can see, Headmistress." She even pointed at the tablet on the table that was playing the video again and again from the footage. "Whatever reason or trigger it was, she made the first move. And whoever was in my shoes wouldn't respond lightly to it. I was just having a meal, and she humiliated me in front of those people. And I know how I reacted was wrong. But it already happened. I want it to be fair. But I went a little overboard. And I'm not sorry about it. There are just some lady fights that no one should stick their nose in. Leave the matter to those who are involved. Let me tell you, there's nothing you can do." She said it in a matter-of-fact way.

Headmistress Stella couldn't wrap her head around what the young girl was saying. "You expect me to not get involved when you were almost killing each other in my grounds?"

Kaisha sighed and was trying to calm herself down with slow breaths. "I didn't mean to kill her or whatever, okay?" She blurted out. "I just reacted out of anger at what she did. She just got the wrong person; I would hit back. And more."

Stella grunted in resignation and took another route. "Tell me what it was about her brother so that I would understand the situation."

"I told you. It doesn't matter, for the damage had already been done." She stubbornly denied the information and would continue to do so.

The headmistress seemed to be in a total dilemma about what was happening. Kaisha McLarren was too elusive, and Kanna was unconscious in a hospital. She wouldn't get anything in this matter.

"I must talk to your family." She announced.

"Go on. Call them." Kaisha encouraged. Her father would settle it for her. They would understand. Her family were the only people who could understand everything she'd gone through. And she was glad to have a family like them.

"You can leave now."

And she was more than happy to be dismissed.

She went to the door and opened it. For the fourth time that day, she was met by the duo again.

"Ugh." She grumbled as she rolled her eyes. "Give me a damn break for freaking's sake!"
