During class, Aurora struggled to stop thinking about Alex. Living in the same house as Alex sparked many thoughts and left her mind feeling uneasy.
She felt anxious and couldn't concentrate on the lecturer's words. Before she knew it, class was over.
The thought of returning to Green Hill made her lose her appetite. She declined David's invitation to join him in the cafeteria and went to the library for her lunch break before her afternoon class.
As Aurora was about to leave the campus, David stopped her.
"Aurora, why are you in such a hurry? Are you headed somewhere?"
"I'm going home and get some sleep!" She made a random excuse while walking, but David quickly caught up to her.
"Oh, okay. Let me drive you home," he offered while trying to match her brisk steps.
"Thanks, but no need, David. I need to stop by somewhere before going home. You can go home on your own..." She tried to convince him.
"Huh!? So you're not going home then?" David asked, confused.
