The air was rich with the aroma of savory, indulgent dishes. Perfectly grilled slices of beef glistened under the kitchen lights, alongside butter-poached lobster tails. A few other dishes sat neatly beside them–beautifully plated and undoubtedly expensive.
Jihoon couldn't name any of the dishes; he just knew they would taste amazing.
Meanwhile, Ryul was taking the food out one by one from the glossy paper bags, setting them neatly across the counter, while Jihoon busied himself with setting the table–laying out cutlery and neatly folded napkins.
Not far from them, Haneul stood quietly in front of a display shelf lined with figurines, his small hands clasped behind his back as he admired their fine details. He stared in silence, a whole imaginary battle unfolding in his mind, though he didn't dare touch any of them.
