Sasha turned toward the door, his voice sharp and commanding. "Bring the healer back."
The order left no room for argument, and as soon as the door opened, the healer dashed back inside. Aimee, however, didn't move. She leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, and watched everything with keen eyes.
The healer finished tending to Aylin's remaining wounds and small cuts and assisted her in putting her tunic back on.
Sasha ignored Aimee's behavior for the time being and approached Aylin. "You need rest. You're not staying here."
Aylin bristled, attempting to push herself upright, but the pain flared up instantly, sending a sharp gasp past her lips. She gritted her teeth, her pride warring with the reality of her condition. "I can walk."
