Aylin sighed as Aimee rummaged through the wardrobe, tossing clothes aside carelessly. "You do realize I don't need to be dressed like some princess, right? A simple dress would be enough. I am going to sleep anyway."
Aimee scoffed without looking back. "Excuse me? After what just happened? No. If you think I'm going to let you wear something plain after every single woman in this fortress just saw you being carried through the halls like a queen, you're sorely mistaken. But fine, if you insist on comfort, at least wear something proper, like a silk nightdress. You're sleeping, not going into battle."
Aylin rolled her eyes, shifting uncomfortably as she adjusted her position on the bed. "I hardly think that matters, especially when I just want to sleep."
"It matters," Aimee insisted, finally pulling out a soft silk nightgown instead. She turned around triumphantly. "This one. You need comfort, but you can still look better than the rest of them while you sleep."
