Anna and Georgia sat in silence for a few moments, trying to process everything that had happened. They had found a threatening message, and now the alpha and Riya were investigating.
Georgia finally broke the silence. "Anna, what's going on?" she asked, her voice shaking.
Anna took a deep breath before answering. "I don't know," she said. "But I think it has something to do with James."
Georgia's eyes widened. "You think James is behind this?" she asked.
Anna nodded. "I do," she said. "He's been acting strange lately, and I think he might be trying to scare us."
Georgia nodded, seeming to accept Anna's explanation. "But what about the argument you saw?" she asked.
Anna frowned, trying to remember. "I'm not sure," she said. "I saw one of the pack members arguing with someone, but I didn't see who it was."
Georgia's eyes narrowed. "Do you think it could have been James?" she asked.
Anna hesitated before answering. "I don't know," she said. "But I think it's possible."
As they sat there, trying to piece together what was happening, Anna heard a noise coming from outside the room. She turned to Georgia, her eyes wide with fear.
"What was that?" Georgia whispered.
Anna shook her head. "I don't know," she said. "But I think we should be careful."
As they sat there, frozen with fear, the door to the room creaked open. Anna's heart was racing as she saw a figure standing in the doorway.
It was Riya.
Riya's eyes scanned the room, her expression serious. "Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," she said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "What is it?" she asked.
Riya hesitated before answering. "We've found some evidence," she said. "It looks like James is behind the threatening message."
Anna's eyes widened. "What kind of evidence?" she asked.
Riya hesitated again. "We found a piece of paper with James's handwriting on it," she said. "It was hidden in his room."
Georgia gasped. "That proves it," she said. "James is behind this."
Riya nodded. "It looks that way," she said. "But we still need to be careful. James is desperate, and desperate people do desperate things."
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of determination. "We'll be careful," she said. "But we need to make sure James is punished for what he's done."
Riya nodded, a small smile on her face. "Don't worry," she said. "James will be punished. The alpha will make sure of it."
As Riya left, Anna turned to Georgia. "I'm glad we finally know what's going on," she said.
Georgia nodded, seeming to relax a little. "Me too," she said. "But we still need to be careful."
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of agreement. "We will," she said. "We'll be careful, and we'll make sure James is punished."
As they sat there, trying to process everything that had happened, Anna heard a noise coming from outside the room. She turned to Georgia, her eyes wide with fear.
"What was that?" Georgia whispered.
Anna shook her head. "I don't know," she said. "But I think we should be careful."
As they sat there, frozen with fear, the door to the room creaked open again. Anna's heart was racing as she saw a figure standing in the doorway.
It was the alpha.
The alpha's eyes scanned the room, his expression serious. "Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," he said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "What is it?" she asked.
The alpha hesitated before answering. "We've found James," he said. "He's been hiding in the woods."
Anna's eyes widened. "What are you going to do with him?" she asked.
The alpha's expression turned grim. "He'll be punished," he said. "But first, we need to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else."
As the alpha left, Anna turned to Georgia. "I'm glad it's finally over," she said.
Georgia nodded, seeming to relax a little. "Me too," she said. "But we still need to be careful."
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of agreement. "We will," she said. "We'll be careful, and we'll make sure James is punished."
As they sat there, trying to process everything that had happened, Anna felt a sense of closure wash over her. She knew that James would be punished, and that she and Georgia would finally be safe.
But as she looked at Georgia, she saw a look of fear in her eyes. "What's wrong?" Anna asked.
Georgia hesitated before answering. "I don't know," she said. "But I have a bad feeling."
Anna frowned, trying to reassure her. "Everything is going to be okay," she said. "James is going to be punished, and we'll finally be safe."
Georgia nodded, seeming to relax a little. "You're right," she said. "I'm just being paranoid."
Anna smiled, trying to reassure her. "It's okay to be paranoid," she said. "But we need to try to stay calm and focus on what's important."
Georgia nodded, seeming to accept Anna's words. "You're right," she said. "Let's just try to stay calm and see what happens next."
As they sat there, trying to process everything that had happened, Anna heard a noise coming from outside the room. She turned to Georgia, her eyes wide with fear.
"What was that?" Georgia whispered.
Anna shook her head. "I don't know," she said. "But I think we should be careful."
As they sat there, frozen with fear, the door to the room creaked open. Anna's heart was racing as she saw a figure standing in the doorway.
It was the alpha's guard.
"Anna, Georgia, the alpha needs to see you," he said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "Okay," she said. "We'll come right down."
As they followed the guard out of the room, Anna couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She didn't know what it was, but she knew that she needed to be careful.
They reached the alpha's office, and Anna could see that he was sitting behind his desk, a serious expression on his face.
"Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," he said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. "What is it?" she asked.
The alpha hesitated before answering. "It's about James," he said. "We've found out that he was working with someone else."
Anna's eyes widened. "Who?" she asked.
The alpha's expression turned grim. "We're not sure yet," he said. "But we're going to find out."
As Anna left the alpha's office, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She didn't know what it was, but she knew that she needed to be careful.
And as she walked back to her room, she couldn't help but wonder who James had been working with. Was it someone she knew? Someone she trusted?
She didn't know, but she was determined to find out.
