Anna and Georgia walked back to their room, deep in thought. They couldn't stop thinking about the alpha's words - James had been working with someone else.
"Who do you think it could be?" Georgia asked, breaking the silence.
"I don't know," Anna replied, "but I think we need to be careful. James is desperate, and desperate people do desperate things."
As they entered their room, Anna noticed a piece of paper on the floor. She picked it up and examined it. It was a note, written in a familiar handwriting.
"What's this?" Anna asked, showing the note to Georgia.
Georgia's eyes widened. "It's from James," she said.
Anna's eyes scanned the note. "It says 'Meet me at the old oak tree at midnight. Come alone.'"
Georgia's face turned pale. "I don't like this," she said.
Anna nodded. "Me neither. I think we should ignore it."
But as they sat there, trying to decide what to do, Anna heard a knock at the door. It was Riya.
"Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," Riya said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. "What is it?" she asked.
Riya hesitated before answering. "I've been investigating James, and I think I've found something."
Anna's eyes widened. "What is it?" she asked.
Riya took a deep breath. "I think James is working with Serefina."
Anna's eyes widened. "Serefina? But she's Jared's ex-girlfriend."
Riya nodded. "I know. But it looks like she's been working with James all along."
Georgia's face turned pale. "This can't be happening," she said.
Anna nodded. "We need to be careful. If Serefina is involved, we can't trust anyone."
As they sat there, trying to process this new information, Anna heard a noise coming from outside the room. She turned to Georgia, her eyes wide with fear.
"What was that?" Georgia whispered.
Anna shook her head. "I don't know, but I think we should be careful."
As they sat there, frozen with fear, the door to the room creaked open. Anna's heart was racing as she saw a figure standing in the doorway.
It was Jared.
Jared's eyes scanned the room, his expression serious. "Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," he said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "What is it?" she asked.
Jared hesitated before answering. "I've been investigating James, and I think I've found something."
Anna's eyes widened. "What is it?" she asked.
Jared took a deep breath. "I think James is planning something big. Something that could hurt the pack."
Georgia's face turned pale. "What can we do?" she asked.
Jared's expression turned grim. "I don't know, but I think we need to be careful. James is desperate, and desperate people do desperate things."
As Jared left, Anna turned to Georgia. "I'm glad we finally know what's going on," she said.
Georgia nodded, seeming to relax a little. "Me too," she said. "But we still need to be careful."
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of agreement. "We will," she said. "We'll be careful, and we'll make sure James is punished."
As they sat there, trying to process everything that had happened, Anna heard a noise coming from outside the room. She turned to Georgia, her eyes wide with fear.
"What was that?" Georgia whispered.
Anna shook her head. "I don't know, but I think we should be careful."
As they sat there, frozen with fear, the door to the room creaked open again. Anna's heart was racing as she saw a figure standing in the doorway.
It was the alpha's guard.
"Anna, Georgia, the alpha needs to see you," he said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "Okay," she said. "We'll come right down."
As they followed the guard out of the room, Anna couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She didn't know what it was, but she knew that she needed to be careful.
They reached the alpha's office, and Anna could see that he was sitting behind his desk, a serious expression on his face.
"Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," he said.
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. "What is it?" she asked.
The alpha hesitated before answering. "It's about James," he said. "We've found out that he's been working with Serefina."
Anna's eyes widened. "Serefina? But she's Jared's ex-girlfriend."
The alpha nodded. "I know. But it looks like she's been working with James all along."

It was James.
James's eyes scanned the room, his expression smug. "I see you're all aware of my little secret," he said.
Anna's eyes narrowed. "What do you want, James?" she asked.
James smiled. "I want to show you that I'm not to be underestimated," he said.
As James left, Anna turned to Georgia. "I don't like this," she said.
Georgia nodded. "Me neither. I think we should be careful."
Anna nodded, feeling a sense of agreement. "We will," she said. "We'll be careful, and we'll make sure James is punished."

It was the alpha.
The alpha's eyes scanned the room, his expression serious. "Anna, Georgia, I need to talk to you," he said.

But as she looked at Georgia, she saw a look of fear in her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Anna asked.
Georgia hesitated before answering. "I don't know," she said. "But I have a bad feeling."
Anna frowned, trying to reassure her. "Everything is going to be okay," she said. "James is going to be punished, and we'll finally be safe."
Georgia nodded, seeming to relax a little. "You're right," she said. "I'm just being paranoid."
Anna smiled, trying to reassure her. "
