Early in the morning, Jr sent his butler to buy a variety of supplies, including cakes, bread, cooked food, bottles of water, juice, soda, clothes, and sandals in different sizes. He instructed the butler to be discreet and not let anyone see him.
Jr then informed his trusted guards that they would be returning to the forest at around 10 am. The guards helped load the car with the supplies, and Jr made sure to pack everything carefully.
As they set off, Jr's mind was racing with questions. He wondered if the girls would like the things he had brought for them. He also couldn't help but think about the strange situation he had stumbled upon. Why was an older black woman living in the forest with three young white girls?
Jr's curiosity was piqued, and he was determined to learn more about their situation. He instructed his guards to drive carefully and to follow him once they arrived at the forest.
After a two-hour drive, they finally reached the edge of the forest. Jr told his guards to carry some of the supplies and follow him. They walked for a while, crossing the stream, until Jr instructed the guards to stop and wait for him.
Jr continued on his own, following the route he had taken before. As he approached the shelter, he saw the girls playing and laughing together. Bella was plaiting one of their hairs in an African style.
Bonita looked up and saw Jr approaching, carrying a paper bag. She alerted the others, and they all ran to Bella, looking terrified. Bella quickly grabbed a huge stick she used for hunting and confronted Jr.
"Who are you, and what do you want?" Bella demanded, trying to sound brave despite her shaking heart. "How did you know about this place?"
Jr held up his hands in a peaceful gesture. "Please, I'm not a bad person," he said. "Put the stick down. I just came to see if I can help you."
Bella eyed him warily. "Go away," she said. "We don't need your help."
Jr stood his ground. "If I was a danger to you, wouldn't I be carrying a weapon?" he asked. "I just want to help."
Bella looked at him uncertainly, her mind racing with questions. Was this man their savior or their doom? She decided to err on the side of caution.
"Go back," she said firmly. "Don't tell anyone that we're living in this forest. And what's in the bag?"
Jr smiled and chuckled. "I brought you some things that you might need," he said. "I left the heavier items not far from here."
Bella's eyes narrowed. What did this man really want from them? She couldn't shake off the feeling that he was hiding something.
As Jr stood there, waiting for Bella's response, he couldn't help but notice the way the girls were looking at him. They seemed scared, but also curious. Jr felt a pang of sympathy for them, and he knew that he had to do something to help.
But for now, he decided to respect Bella's wishes and leave. "I'll go," he said. "But please, let me come back and visit you again. I promise I won't hurt you."
Bella looked at him searchingly, trying to read his intentions. After a moment, she nodded. "Okay," she said. "But be careful. We can't trust anyone."
Jr nodded and smiled. "I understand," he said. "I'll be careful."
With that, Jr turned and left, leaving Bella and the girls to wonder about his true intentions.
