Jr settled into his study room, ready to tackle a day of online business meetings. He had just begun his video call with his international business partners and board members when Bella knocked on the door.
"Baibe, have some breakfast," she said, walking in with a tray laden with millet porridge, roasted bread, small yellow bananas, and fried fresh cassava. "You must be hungry. You can work as you're eating, so the cassava doesn't get cold."
Jr smiled, grateful for the thoughtful gesture. "Thank you, honie," he said, taking a sip of the porridge.
But what happened next caught everyone off guard. Bella didn't realize that Jr was on a video call, and the screen was projecting her image to the entire group. The room fell silent as all eyes turned to Bella, who was busy setting out the breakfast.
