Bella woke up early, feeling refreshed and energized. She decided to start her day with some exercise, running around the compound to get her blood pumping. She had always wanted to join Jr on his runs, but he preferred to run outside the compound.
After her exercise routine, Bella showered and got dressed, then went to greet Old Mrs. Hampton. She found the girls still sleeping, so she gently woke them up, saying, "Good morning, girls! Time for breakfast!"
The girls rubbed their eyes, yawning, went to their bathrooms to clean to clean themselves , brushed their teeth and followed Bella to the dining room. Grandpa Hampton and Jr's father were already seated at the table, sipping their coffee.
As they sat down to eat, Old Mrs. Hampton announced, "Hampton and I are leaving for our countryside home today. We've been away for a while, and it's time for us to return."
The girls looked at each other, disappointed. "Please, Grandma, don't go!" they chorused.
Old Mrs. Hampton smiled, "I'll come back to visit you, and you should come visit me too. We'll stay in touch."
Bella helped Old Mrs. Hampton pack her bags, while the girls said their goodbyes. They hugged their grandmother tightly, tears welling up in their eyes.
Bella also hugged Old Mrs. Hampton, saying, "We'll miss you, Grandma. We'll come visit you soon."
Old Mrs. Hampton smiled, "I'm looking forward to it, Bella. Take care of the girls for me."
As they escorted Old Mrs. Hampton and Grandpa Hampton downstairs, Jr's father and Jr joined in, walking them to the helicopter pad.
The family bid farewell to the old Hamptons, watching as they flew away into the distance. The girls were visibly sad, missing their grandmother already.
Jr put his arms around them, saying, "Don't worry, girls. I promise to take you to visit Grandma and Grandpa soon."
Bonita looked up at Jr, her eyes shining with tears. "You promise, Jr?" she asked.
Jr nodded, "Yes, I promise. We'll go visit them soon."
The girls smiled, feeling a little better. Bella smiled too, grateful for Jr's kindness and thoughtfulness.
As they headed back indoors, Bella put her arm around Jr's waist, saying, "Thank you, Jr. You're always so thoughtful."
Jr smiled, putting his arm around Bella's shoulders. "I just want to make everyone happy," he said.
The family spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying each other's company. Jr worked on his investigation, while Bella spent time with the girls, playing games and watching movies.
As the sun began to set, Jr closed his laptop, feeling satisfied with the progress he had made. He looked over at Bella and the girls, smiling at the happy scene before him.
It had been a bittersweet day, saying goodbye to Old Mrs. Hampton and Grandpa Hampton. But Jr knew that they would stay in touch, and he was grateful for the love and support of his family.
