Chapter 159 - Chapter 159: A Special Request

Bella walked up to Jr, who was busy typing away on his laptop. "Jr, can you help me with something?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Jr looked up, smiling. "Of course, Bella. What do you need?"

Bella pulled out her iPad and showed Jr a picture of a specific type of green banana. "I'm looking for these. They're called matooke in Uganda. Can you help me find some?"

Jr's eyes widened as he took in the image. "Matooke, huh? I've never heard of those. Consider it done, Bella. I can get anything from anywhere, as long as I want it."

Bella's face lit up with a smile. "Really? You can do that?"

Jr nodded, his confidence unwavering. "Of course. I have my ways."

Bella's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Do people here eat matooke?" she asked.

Jr shook his head. "I don't think so. But I can definitely get some for you."

Bella's smile grew wider. "Thank you, Jr. That would mean a lot to me."

Jr smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "No problem, Bella. I'd do anything for you."

Bella's face glowed with happiness as she leaned in to kiss Jr's cheek. "I appreciate that, Jr."

As Bella walked away, Jr couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He loved being able to make Bella happy.

Jr's attention turned back to his laptop, and he began typing away once more. After a few minutes, he picked up his phone and made a call.

The phone rang several times before a deep, resonant voice answered. "Hello?"

"Your Excellency," Jr said, his voice respectful. "I hope I'm not disturbing you."

The voice on the other end chuckled. "Jr, my boy. You're never a disturbance. What can I do for you?"

Jr smiled, feeling a sense of relief. He was speaking with His Excellency Walusimbi Anthony, the Ambassador of Uganda to Greenwood.

"Your Excellency, I need a favor," Jr said, getting straight to the point. "I'm looking for some matooke and plantains. Can you help me out?"

There was a pause on the other end of the line before the Ambassador responded. "Matooke and plantains, huh? When did you start eating them? Those are staples back home. Let me see what I can do."

Jr's face lit up with a smile. "Thank you, Your Excellency. I appreciate it."

The Ambassador chuckled. "No problem, Jr. I'll take care of it. But next time, you have to come visit me at the embassy. We'll eat some matooke and plantains together."

Jr laughed. "I'd like that, Your Excellency."

As Jr hung up the phone, he felt a sense of gratitude towards the Ambassador. He knew that he could always count on him for help.

Jr's attention turned back to his laptop, and he began typing away once more. He had a feeling that it was going to be a productive day.
