Bella woke up early, feeling refreshed and energized. She brushed her teeth, cleaned herself, and headed to the kitchen to start her day.
The chefs were already busy preparing breakfast, and they greeted Bella warmly. "Good morning, Miss Bella," they chimed in unison.
Bella smiled, feeling happy to see the chefs so enthusiastic. "Good morning, everyone," she replied. "Today, we're not having American pancakes. We're going to have Ugandan pancakes instead."
The chefs looked at each other in surprise, but Vivian, one of the chefs, spoke up. "What are Ugandan pancakes, Miss Bella?" she asked.
Bella smiled mischievously. "You'll see," she said. "Please prepare a bowl, a bunch of small yellow bananas, and the cassava flour I asked you to keep."
The chefs nodded, eager to learn something new. Bella started kneading the mixture, adding just the right amount of cassava flour to make the pancakes thick and fluffy.
As she worked, the butler helped her prepare the frying pan, pouring in enough oil to deep-fry the pancakes. Bella carefully placed the mixture in the hot oil, watching as they turned golden brown.
The chefs and the butler were amazed by the delicious aroma filling the kitchen. "Wow, Miss Bella, these smell incredible," Vivian said.
Bella smiled, feeling proud of her culinary skills. "You'll love the taste," she said. "Is the porridge ready?"
Vivian nodded. "Almost, Miss Bella."
Bella nodded, pouring the porridge into two flasks. She added sugar, milk, and a few pancakes to each flask, packing them neatly.
Just then, Hampton the Second walked into the kitchen, preparing to leave for the airport to pick up his wife. Bella handed him one of the flasks and a container of pancakes.
"Dad, I packed some porridge and pancakes for you and Mom to enjoy when you get home," she said.
Hampton the Second smiled, touched by Bella's thoughtful gesture. "You didn't have to do that, Bella," he said.
Bella smiled back. "It's no trouble, Dad. I just wanted to make sure you and Mom have a nice breakfast together."
Hampton the Second nodded, calling his driver to take the flask and container to the car. Bella watched as he left, feeling happy that she could make him smile.
Just then, Jr walked into the kitchen, looking busy and preoccupied. "I don't have time for breakfast, Bella," he said.
But Bella was prepared. She handed him the second flask and container of pancakes. "I packed some porridge and pancakes for you, Jr," she said. "You can eat them on the go."
Jr's face lit up with a smile. "You're always thinking of me, Bella," he said, hugging her. "Thanks, love."
Bella smiled back, feeling happy that she could make Jr's day a little brighter. "Always, baby," she said.
As Jr left for his meeting, Bella watched him go, feeling grateful for the love and support they shared. She knew that Jr was busy, but she also knew that he appreciated her thoughtful gestures.
The day was just beginning, and Bella was already feeling happy and fulfilled. She knew that it was going to be a great day.
