Jr couldn't shake off the feeling of restlessness that had been building up inside him. He lay in bed, his mind racing with thoughts of the investigation and the traffickers who were still on the loose.
He thought about the girls, Bella, and how much he wanted to give them a normal life. He wanted to adopt the girls, take them to school, and give them their freedom back. He wanted to engage Bella and travel with her to Uganda to meet her parents.
Jr's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his phone buzzing. He ignored it, not wanting to be disturbed.
Meanwhile, Madam Rose was receiving a warning phone call. The person on the other end told her to be careful, that the authorities were investigating the kidnappings and trafficking of girls.
Madam Rose's eyes narrowed as she listened to the caller. She was told to keep the girls hidden, not to move them to different locations. If any of them misbehaved, she knew what to do.
The caller hung up, leaving Madam Rose feeling uneasy. She knew that the authorities were closing in on them, and she had to be careful.
She woke up Smith and the other traffickers, telling them about the new orders. They nodded, agreeing to be careful.
As they dispersed, Madam Rose turned to Smith. "How far have you gotten with the search for the girls?" she asked.
Smith hesitated, taking a deep breath. "We're still looking for them, Madam Rose."
Madam Rose's expression turned cold. "Do you know that those girls are like time bombs? If the authorities get to them, we're dead."
She glared at Smith. "How can you tell me that an African girl from the village, an 8-year-old, and two 10-year-olds have completely remained hidden? They don't even know Greenwood!"
Madam Rose's voice dropped to a menacing tone. "Smith, do whatever you're supposed to do to get them back. Before something bad happens. And make sure you don't get caught."
Smith nodded, his eyes wide with fear. "Yes, ma'am."
As Smith scurried away, Madam Rose couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She knew that the authorities were closing in on them, and she had to be careful.
She made a mental note to increase security measures, to make sure that the girls were kept hidden. She couldn't afford to make any mistakes.
The night wore on, Madam Rose's anxiety growing with each passing minute. She knew that she was running out of time, and she had to act fast.
But Jr was closing in on her, determined to bring her down. The battle between good and evil was far from over.
