Lemon walked back to the dorm, her face neutral despite the chaos in her mind. As soon as she stepped inside, all eyes were on her.
Riley was the first to break the silence. "Okay, what the hell was that?"
Evelyn, barely holding back her laughter, mimicked one of Lemon's exaggerated expressions. "'Ohh my god, are you kidding me?'"
Scarlett joined in, clutching her stomach. "'Whattt?!' You looked like you were in some drama show!"
Hazel wiped fake tears. "I swear, if I recorded that, we'd have gone viral by now."
Lemon, unfazed, placed her notebook on the table and crossed her arms. "Are you all done?"
Autumn smirked. "Not really, but I want to live, so… go on."
The room fell silent as Lemon took a deep breath. "Grace told me something important. Luna wasn't just some random senior. She was part of a six-member friend group."
The teasing stopped immediately. Hazel straightened up. "Wait… six people? Including Luna?"
"Yeah," Lemon confirmed. "And one of them died before all this started. No one knows how or why."
The weight of her words settled over the group. The excitement from earlier vanished, replaced by a heavy silence.
"She didn't mention names," Lemon continued, "but we now know that these murders are connected. It's not random."
Riley frowned. "So, Lydia, Sofia, and Luna… they were all in the same group?"
Lemon nodded. "Most likely. But no one wants to say it out loud."
Scarlett rubbed her temples. "This means we need to find the rest of them."
Hazel quickly grabbed Lemon's notebook and flipped it open. "Let's list everything we know so far."
Lemon took the pen and jotted down each piece of information carefully.
• There was a group of six girls.
• One of them died before all this started.
• Lydia, Sofia, and Luna were most likely a part of it.
• No one talks about the group, not even their close friends.
Just as she finished writing, a piercing scream echoed through the dorm hallway.
The girls froze.
Autumn's voice came out in a whisper. "That… that sounded close."
Riley was already on her feet. "We need to check it out."
Without hesitation, they rushed out, pushing past students who were already gathering in the hallway. The atmosphere was thick with fear and confusion.
"Where—?" Evelyn started, but she stopped when she saw it.
The bathroom door was wide open, and inside, lying motionless on the cold tiles, was another girl.
Hazel gasped. "Oh my god… Georgia?"
The third-floor dormitory was in complete chaos as students murmured and screamed. Teachers arrived quickly, pushing them all back.
Lemon stood frozen at the sight, her heartbeat loud in her ears.
Another victim.
Another girl.
She could be from the same group.
And the murderer was still out there.
The truths were slowly being uncovered. But at what cost?
