Amelia closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Do you think we will spare you? We are here to help you see the truth, and we will go only after you see that," The man said.
His words confused Amelia.
What did he say? To help her see the truth? What kind of truth were they talking about?
"What–" she opened her mouth to ask them what they were talking about when the man drew his blade again, and Amelia's pupils dilated before she jumped backward to dodge.
Though she was swift, her techniques were comparatively blunt, and the blade sliced her hand.
She winced in pain, holding the wound as it started oozing blood.
