"I am Primus Xal'Zaryon Drakonis!" At the end of his words, his Draconic voice returned, reaching far into the woods as if a dragon roared.
He softly exhaled, "Learning to control the Dragon's might was easier than learning the Common tongue of this continent." From the inheritance, he had also learned the common tongue of this plane of existence.
It was much inferior to the dragon language, it couldn't even be used for mana incantation as a human or other race first had to engrave a rune in their Sea of Consciousness first if they wanted to utilize a spell.
He looked around himself before getting up and moving further away. This location was already infected with his Draconic might, he didn't want to stay in this place lest the traveling hunters or merchants mistake him.
…
After walking for a while, he came beside a running stream and decided to eat some meat, or else he would starve to death first in his second life.
"I wonder, is this camping? I never went camping in my last life, fucking work then family and then work." He released an exasperated sigh, "I really wasted my last life, I should have gone on more trips, enjoyed more foods, and…" his smile turned amused, "perhaps beauties as well."
He gathered a large bundle of dry wood from the nearby forest and gathered them all in a circle some distance away from the water stream.
"Now, how should I light up the fi—" He paused, then wryly smiled and crouched down, "I need more time to get used to my new identity." Sizzz— a small fire burned on top of his fingers, he couldn't do much with it but lighting wood on fire was easy.
And soon, a burning fire lit up on the wood, he then took out a large piece from his inventory and pierced it with a stick before he started roasting it.
He sat down beside it, waiting patiently for the meat to cook, "Are my taste buds still the same? Will I like this food? Or can I only eat it raw?" A myriad of questions swirled inside his head. Making him question every little thing.
…
After a while, the meat was cooked to a beautiful golden appearance, he carefully tore off a large piece of the meat, but he soon remembered his enhanced physical condition.
He exhaled a sigh and let go of all his worries as the aroma of the food was far too enticing for him. He shoved his face into the meat, tearing it apart with his sharp teeth before chewing it and swallowing it.
"Hum…hum…it's tasty, much more tasty than my last life food." His eyes lit up as the taste was outside of his expectations. And the food also helped him to saturate his body a little.
But just then, the rustling sound of leaves sounded, he stopped at once and looked towards the place from where the sound was coming from.
From his left, two humans came out, they seemed to be a kind-looking couple in mage clothes.
Primus quickly swallowed the meat in his mouth and warily looked at the two of them. He didn't dare to use the Eye of Revelation since he could feel that the two of them were much stronger than him.
So, if he used the ability in his current condition, he might very well lose consciousness from over-exertion.
"Hello there, young man. What are you doing so deep in the jungle of Thunderpeak Kingdom?" The kind-looking old man asked after coming in front of Primus. But the way he looked at Primus was strange...almost as if melancholic about someone.
Primus stayed silent, then spoke with difficulty in the common tongue of the continent to not mess up, "I…I don't know."
The old man's eyes flashed, he used his magic to make sure the young man wasn't lying. And Primus was indeed not lying since he didn't know how he got here or what he was going to do from now on.
On the other hand, the kind-looking lady took out a small robe from her bag and handed it to Primus, "Wear some clothes first young man. We can talk later."
Primus looked below, he realized that he was talking with two humans completely naked from the start. But he didn't mind it much since they were only strangers, and he wasn't ashamed of his body, in fact he was very proud.
He wouldn't mind if others looked at him in all of his glory, but his past life's morals didn't allow him to converse with them further without putting some clothes on.
The old couple turned around as they saw him heading towards the stream to wash himself.
"Oi old hag, what do you think about this young man?" The old man softly asked.
"Hmph, stop calling me an old hag you old bastard. As for the young man…" she paused as she remembered her impression of him, "He seems weird, knowledgeable yet like a newborn. I can't be certain what it is. But he seems like a good person at the core."
The old man's gaze turned profound as he thought about some stuff, the old lady observed this and asked, "Do you think he is the one whose prophecy you received from the crazy Daoist?"
The old man solemnly nodded his head, "Yes, there can be no mistake. All the words of that crazy old Daoist came true here. We found a young teen here as he had prophesied."
"What if it's his plan? He left this young man himself?" The old woman asked warily.
The old man broke out in smiles, "He wouldn't bother to do that much if he wants to deal with me. And even if I have a bit of fame, I'm far from comparable to that old Daoist."
"The Thunderpeak Kingdom has been restless since the death of Garren from the Thunderblade family. Even if he was not the heir, his status wasn't much less due to him being an Ascendant." The old lady sighed thinking about the past.
