On 22nd August, morning 10am, the Delhi Developed Fund received 50 crore rupees, donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad.
At the same time, he declared Saraswati Singh, previous know as Noor Begum, is now reinstated as a princess of Hyderabad.
And he stopped the intentions of Hyderabad joining Pakistan or becoming an independent country, and invited Sardar Patel for negotiations.
This calmed down the protesting people, and even the Hyderabad royal family sighed in relief.
The exiled princess of Hyderabad is finally returning.
While she has a lot of people who want to kill her, for the majority of the people of Hyderabad princely state, she is very popular.
When she was young, around 5 years old, she had adopted a small village in Hyderabad.
She herself taught them basic elementary school level knowledge, and told them to spread out across the princely state to teach others. That's why, the villagers called her Saraswati, which she surprisingly changed her name into after being expelled from Hyderabad. Meaning, she still remembered them.
The adopted village, which she renamed as Noorganj, developed crop rotation, drip irrigation and other farming techniques. She created a bio-gas plant in the village which not only gives them cleaner fuel than wood, but the quality of manure also becomes better, while being a good place for dumping waste.
Well, things were going well in the village, but then she was expelled because she wanted to fight for the independence of India. And the village was kicked out of the adopted status.
So, this also made the royal family look worthless. As they don't fight against British despite having so much wealth that Nizam uses a very expensive diamond that would have filled a lot of stomachs as just a paperweight.
Just as it was calm, the next day was a storm.
Rumours have spread that Nizam is only agreeing to join India so that he can still remain the ruler like he was during British colonial rule.
Suddenly, severe protests started again, fiercer than ever.
"Make Saraswati the Nizam! Or destroy Royal Family!"
If they have to live under Nizam rule, they would rather live under her being the Nizam. Else,
Because, she will use 90% of the wealth of Nizam in the development of Hyderabad state, instead of her own luxuries. Creating schools and universities.
The rumours were as if there was someone's hand behind the agenda of the protests.
Hyderabadi Masala, Andhra News, and several other newspapers were spreading the support for making her the Nizam, and then using most of the wealth for development of the people, instead of letting it rot as diamond paperweights while people are poor.
Nizam had tried giving the 50 crores to her as an apology, but she told him to instead donate it all in Delhi Development Fund.
This made them believe that she is the best choice for Hyderabad province as a whole instead of letting Delhi have her.
With the turmoil in Hyderabad, especially outside the palace, she couldn't come right now.
According to Andhra Daily, she has been threatened by Nizam to not take a foot inside Hyderabad or many lives will be lost.
WHICH coincided by the police gunning down many protesters yesterday, after which she said that people should calm down and she can't arrive because of turmoil.
This broke the last amount of patience people had.
People threw stones and tried to storm in into the palace.
Thankfully, the police that Sardar Patel has brought secretly came from the backdoor and manage to evacuate Nizam and his family, along with all the documents.
Nizam felt fear for the first time in his life as he and his family that was currently in the palace were being taken to the Hyderabad airstrip.
It was like some time before French Revolution.
As they boarded the plane, he finally met Sardar Patel waiting for him in the plane.
"Thank god you are safe. It's like moments before French revolution..."
He muttered, which sent shivered to their spines.
About half an hour after the plane took off, the front door guards realized that their employer has abandoned them and fled, so they opened the gates of the palace and decided to join the mob in stealing the luxurious items and then burn down the palace.
This incident was known as the 'Hyderabad Revolution'.
It also sent fear to other princely states, especially those Royal Families who are unpopular.
Junagadh's ruler immediately signed the instrument of acession to India, and started preparing to flee to UK with his wealth after an assassination attempt by one of his bodyguard who got ideas from the Hyderabad incident.
Returning to Nizam, he appointed Saraswati as the new Nizam, and after naming all properties and assets in India under her, also fled to UK.
To calm down the people and oversee Hyderabad, Saraswati took over as the Nizam as well while being MP from Delhi, and signed the instrument of acession without any special conditions or such, and not even taking the privy purses.
More and more princely states, like Sikkim, also signed the instrument of acession, got the privy purses, and decided it's not worth fighting for it. Wealth is more important than ruling.
On a positive side, the independence movement in Portugal and French occupied parts became more and more fierce.
France immediately declared the territories of India under its rule Independent, and sent their negotiators to get something.
Portugal on the other hand, was stubborn.
The most positive impact was the King of Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Hari Singh also signing the instrument of acession to India without any conditions, and Jammu and Kashmir is now an official part of India without any contradictions of Hyderabad and Junagadh being forcefully reintegrated.
That people and ruler wanting different things didn't happen. So, there is no need for plebiscite.
Those who don't want to remain in India, can go to Pakistan as it has been carved out from India specifically for them.
Unless someone makes an idiotic decision, the integration of the princely states was mostly over in around 3 weeks.
"When the big guy falls, the smaller ones get scared and try to salvage whatever they can and decrease future loss."
The big guy was Hyderabad here. She has planned for a long time, years upon years laying the seeds for this future.
It actually went better than expected.
She didn't expect that the Kashmir issue will be solved as a butterfly effect.

Sardar Patel agreed.

Women and Children Ministry is just not powerful enough to make equal laws. Her goal after her suicide in her past life.
