In the end, Saraswati actually succeeded in becoming the Nizam of Hyderabad. And gain all the property and assets that Nizam held in India.
And the re-integration of the princely states happened quickly because of the royals fearing a French revolution.
By 15 September, most of the princely states accepted the deal of maintaining their wealth and getting privy purses (huge pocket money) and got rid of the tension of ruling people.
Even Pakistan was bamboozled. They were just planning on Invading Jammu and Kashmir, and it became a part of India.
Since Sardar Patel was now free, he became the head of the Constitution's drafting committee.
And now that she has to manage both Delhi and the Hyderabad state, it's not possible to join the drafting committee, as she has planned previously.
So she just submitted her own draft of constitution that she made during her house arrest to the Drafting Committee. It is shorter and more precise with probably less contradictions. She knows that it is arrogant to believe that the draft doesn't have any any contradictions.
Anyway, aside from retracting her goal to be on Drafting Committee...
'I just wanted the money, I didn't think that I will actually become Nizam!'
Well, maybe this is for the good.
Right now, there is a very important thing she has to do in Delhi.
Many people have left for Pakistan, leaving behind their properties.
And many people who were just living their life had to come to Delhi after their lands were suddenly snatched by Pakistan.
Afterall, less than 20% of the people got to vote in the 1946 provincial election. And the now Western Pakistan region has faced almost every Islamic invasion first.
For now, she has taken over every land and property of people who left India under the Delhi government, and provided temporary shelters there for the people who came to Delhi there.
But, the Waqf Board has put a case, and the Delhi High Court gave an order to not touch those properties, though allowed them to be used as temporary shelters.
As she was sitting in the parliament, where people were shouting at each other and the discussions were not going anywhere, her blood pressure was rising.
These damned courts!
While the current decision is actually right since there is no defined way of how the laws will go, and India is currently following British laws, can't they behave like they do?
Take 10-20 years to even open a case?
She sighed, and just stood up, opened her schoolbag that is far more convenient, practically, and stylish than those ugly briefcases which barely have any space.
And these people look down on her as an oddball.
The arguments between two insignificant idiots was still happening, but some eyes were now on her.
Especially the bag sitting on the table.
"Bittu, make some copies for these files and give to the representative of each party and the speaker."
There is a saying. Fight fire with fire. It's an incredibly stupid saying unless the context is minimising the loss due to a forest fire.
Actually, she doesn't know if she is right about this, or even if she is, how does it actually works.
Well, an assignment for Indraprasth University. She wrote it in her notebook to ensure she doesn't forget.
Disadvantages of not having smartphone...
"Mr Speaker, I need to talk about the settlement of the people who had to migrate to Delhi and other regions due to Pakistan's creation."
She said on the mic, and sure enough, it was way more important than the shouting and more senseless shouting.
After some minutes, she was given the chance to talk.
The files were already on the main people's tables.
Thank god she threw money into the problem of not having photocopying printers, and as an electrical engineer, was the investor and group leader of the engineers of her some of the best engineers in her university involved in making the machine.
So, Saraswati Group is the inventor of printing machine.
Anyway, she started talking.
"As you know, Delhi High Court has put a hold on Delhi government using the properties left behind by the now Pakistani citizens. We can't just let the people live in tents.
My lawyers have reviewed the documents provided by the Waqf, and more than 80% of the claimed properties don't have any documentation.
I don't understand why the High Court is so fast in opening the case but not letting the Delhi Government use atleast the properties that don't belong to Waqf to be used for settling the people instead of putting the entire thing that Waqf claimed on hold.
Anyway, I am calling out Delhi High Court here in front of the country because of its quick-ness in opening this case, but not dismissing the parts of the claims because the Waqf didn't have the documentation on.
It is to remind that these judges are not some 'Milords'. They are public servant. Their job is to work for public, not against the public.
Anyway, Delhi is going to go through a land redistribution as well as Hyderabad princely state.
So, it is necessary to make all land in India being tradable, especially for the roads, railways, educational and medical institutions and such.
Of course, lands that are dangerous to use like hills which can cause landslides, protected forests that should be a category formed as we make the constitution, so that we don't interfere with lands that will mess up the environment too much.
But other lands should be able to be bought. Of course with proper compensation."
It was targeting the land that is 'in the name of Allah'. Especially the land donated by rulers after killing and removing the actual owners of the lands. Which constitutes to about 16% of the land of the 20% documented Waqf land.
As some people understood the implications, they stood, shouted, and not so surprisingly, Nehru stood with them.
"Instead of trying to buy those lands, we can just rent on lease-"
"Only an idiot will think that.
Many of these plots of land need to be absolutely under government control, with no third party.
The current railway tracks are the bare minimum for just freight. For a barr minimum railway system, we need atleast 10 times more tracks than what we have right now.
Many plots are necessary for security, and other transportation, like airport, major roads that should be able to be used for airforce planes usage as well in need of emergency.
And most importantly, we need to create an entire Delhi Local Trains system that doesn't connect to the regular lines. It will require a lot of land, in every nook and corner of Delhi.
The same thing with Hyderabad city and many other cities that will be developed in Hyderabad province.
The same thing with every major city.
If the government can't buy land that is necessary, the people will suffer because of it."
Nehru said, "I understand where you are coming from. But we can't just take away the rights of minorities-"
"Sikhs are minorities. Hindus in those regions are minorities. They have been displaced. What 'Minority rights' are you talking about?
Why are you guys always so communal!? Why can't you just accept that, Pakistan is a communal country carved out of India, a place where all the people who want to enjoy special rights can go to. It's created for them by genociding millions of people at the hands of Muslim League.
Just why the hell you can't accept that Secularism means separation of state and religion. That there is no different laws for different citizens.
France is a secular country.
UK is a Christian State. It's Head of State is required to be christian. There are blasphemy laws. It's national anthem has god in it.
You are following the wrong example, brainwashed by British propaganda.
UK just wants to look secular. It isn't.
And India must not follow the example of that shit-hole depressing country of thieves.
The country that even stole the jewels of Taj Mahal.
Such culture-less people. Being proud of the biggest thieves in human history.
Everyone must get out of the mindset that India will systematically and legally discriminate against anyone and give insecular privileges to anyone.
I guess you guys forgot that I am still on Satyagrah. Here I am working hard to keep this country together to make sure atleast the obvious things don't get pushed aside for stupidity, and you all can't see anything aside from division! Just religion, religion, religion!
Go become an ummah. This is a place for policymakers. Whose only god is Bharat Mata!"
'Now it's time to faint.'
She fainted.
Afterall, with stupid people, logic and obviously logical arguments don't work.
They need drama. And a drama big enough so that they can't continue carrying on their stupidity in front of everyone because people wouldn't care in front of a bigger drama.
Instead, they will become an object of hatred.
