The angel in the sky was Sora.
"Did I miss?"
Although she successfully used Angewomon's skill, her accuracy was still a bit off.
But it was fine. If one arrow didn't work, she'd just shoot another.
Sora drew back the string of the feather bow that grew from the glove on her left hand, and a white-light arrow appeared.
Angewomon's signature skill—Holy Arrow!
When shooting, you had to raise your left leg and keep a ninety-degree angle with the right leg— so she made sure to remember that.
"Ahhh... can we make up?" The monster chuckled awkwardly.
The shockwave alone had left it a little numb, let alone a direct hit.
It would die! It might be arrogant, but it wasn't stupid enough to not fear death.
In fact, it was terrified.
Whoosh!
"At this point, still saying nonsense like that?" Sora released her right hand, and the arrow flew.
This time, it hit the target.
To ensure it hit, she had even closed the distance.
The monster tried to escape, but there was nowhere to go. The light arrow struck the monster's chest, and its destructive power spread throughout its body.
Then, it died.
One shot, one kill.
Sora descended from the sky and landed before the three, smiling. "Can we introduce ourselves now?"
Surprisingly or not, they did.
The long-haired girl was named Mira Jane Strauss Strauss.
The short-haired girl was named Lisanna Strauss.
The tall boy was named Elfman Strauss.
As expected, this world was the world of Fairy Tail.
Lisanna asked, "Sister, are you an angel?"
'Sister…'
Sora instinctively wanted to correct her, but after a slight pout, she gave up.
"Well, sort of."
Sora looked at Mira's arms. Even though the iron mask covered her face, Mira could still feel Sora's gaze.
She forced a smile, "An angel, here to eliminate me, a demon?"
Lisanna and Elfman both flinched and immediately positioned themselves in front of Sora, shielding their sister, Mira, from her.
Sora chuckled and shook her head. "Don't be nervous. I'm not here to eliminate you, and you're not a demon."
Mira became confused.
She looked at her demon-like hand. Didn't this mean she was a demon?
"The real reason your arm has turned into a demon's form is because of the magic you've taken over. This is Take Over magic, a magic that draws upon the power of monsters to fight."
"Take Over magic? You mean my arm is magic?" Mira asked, staring at her arm in surprise.
She looked at Sora with hope in her eyes, "Can my arm return to normal?"
Lisanna and Elfman shared the same expression.
Sora chuckled softly, "Of course, as long as you master Take Over magic, you can return to normal. Your situation is because you didn't go through proper training."
Lisanna said, "We, with our sister, have lived in the village since we were little. We've never heard of magic."
Sora nodded, understanding the situation, "You must have awakened Take Over magic during a crisis, took over a demon's soul, and couldn't control it, which is why it turned out like this. Once you learn magic, you'll be able to return to normal."
"Magic..."
Mira was silent for a long time, then, to everyone's surprise, the strong girl they knew covered her face and began to cry, "I-I'm not a demon! I wasn't possessed! I awakened the power of magic..."
Although she was crying, it was clear that she felt relieved.
"Sister!"
Lisanna and Elfman quickly ran over and hugged the crying Mira, cheering, "That's great! Sister, I knew it! I'm so glad!"
After the three calmed down, they expressed their deep gratitude to Sora—one for saving their lives, and the other for clearing their confusion.
In the past, the three had been possessed by demons, and after Mira killed the demon that was causing trouble for them and the church, the demon's hand grew. The villagers had rejected them, and they were forced to leave the village.
This led them to fall into extremely low self-esteem and wariness, always suspicious of their surroundings and unfriendly to everyone.
Now that they knew the truth, they thanked Sora and also apologized for their previous cold behavior.
"Sorry, our attitude was bad before."
"It's okay, it's all in the past. Let me heal you," Sora said, raising her hands and releasing a rainbow-colored halo toward Mira.
Healing Light!
Mira had been struck by the monster earlier and was still feeling the numb pain all over her body.
Under the light of the Healing Light, the pain gradually faded away like the retreating tide. And it felt so warm.
It was like being back in her mother's embrace.
"Is this magic?"
Mira marveled at the magic's wonder and convenience, "Thank you, Sora Sister. I'm fine now."
'Oh? She's calling me Sora Sister...'
Mira, who was a rebellious girl when she was younger, being this polite was quite rare.
Sora smiled gently and withdrew the Healing Light.
"Sora, Sister, do you know Take Over magic? Can you teach me?"
Lisanna and Elfman quickly realized that the wings growing from Sora's back might also be due to Take Over magic.
It couldn't be that she's truly an angel, could it?
It must be Take Over magic too... Mira couldn't help but feel envious, thinking that if she had taken over an angel's power, her brother and sister wouldn't have had to wander around with her.
"I don't know Take Over magic." Sora shook her head. "If you want to learn magic, I recommend you go to the Fairy Tail guild."
"What's that?"
"That's a mage guild..."
After explaining, Sora flew into the sky, found the direction inside the city, and then returned and guided Mira, and the others.
As they walked, they also began talking.
Lisanna asked, "Sister Sora, you're wearing that mask that covers your eyes, so why can you still see the road?"
"This mask does not block the view."
After all, she could clearly see everything around her.
"Sister Sora, what were you… doing earlier?"
"That? Which one? Oh, you mean that. That is an adult's secret; you kids wouldn't understand."
"..." Mira and Lisanna exchanged glances.
Elfman, on the other hand, looked completely puzzled—what was happening? What were they talking about?
The Fiore Kingdom, located in a magic world called Earth Land, is a permanently neutral nation with a population of 17 million.
Here, magic is already a part of everyday life.
Within the kingdom, there are many mage guilds, the most famous of which is "Fairy Tale", where many powerful mages gather.
Magnolia, a town within the Fiore Kingdom, is a long-established magical commercial city and also the headquarters of the famous mage guild "Fairy Tale".
"This is it!"
On a street before a three-story building, Sora, and others looked up at the flag bearing the "Fairy Tale" guild's emblem.
"Let's go in!"
Pushing open the door, They entered the guild.
Natsu was rubbing his fists, Gray was shirtless, Erza was clad in armor, Kana was drinking, and Wakaba was holding a pipe in his mouth…
As the door opened, everyone in the guild turned their eyes toward the entrance.
The blonde woman at the forefront caught everyone's attention.
'Wow~'
'That figure, that style…'
Albeit the outfit wasn't particularly revealing, at least compared to other mages, it wasn't considered bold. Some female mages even wore bikinis as their daily attire—yes, they'd dare to walk around in nothing but bikinis.
However, this outfit looked even more provocative than those mages in bikinis!
She wore white silk gloves on her left arm, while her right arm was bare, exposing her smooth, fair skin. The same was true for her legs, creating a striking asymmetry that added to her unique allure.
Two leather belts were strapped to her right thigh, accentuating her curves perfectly.
What a daring outfit!
Unfortunately, the mask covered her face, making it impossible to see her features.
"Young lady, is there something you need?" Macao, dressed in a white trench coat, approached Sora.
Sora had mentally prepared herself for the chaos inside the Fairy Tail guild, but seeing it firsthand still came as quite a shock.
Mira, Lisanna, and Elfman were completely unprepared. They looked around at the disorderly scene and were taken aback, "Is this really a mage guild?"
They were right, it looked more like a messy bar!
Macao looked at Mira and the others, smiling, and said, "Of course, we are an excellent mage guild!"
He turned to Sora and asked, "Are you here to post a job request?"
Macao could tell these four were together. Mira and the others were clearly children, while Sora appeared more adult-like, so he assumed she was the one in charge.
And…as a matter of fact, he was right.
Sora nodded, "Yes, we do have something to ask of you."
