Chapter 20 - Chapter 19: When the Real Game Begins

The moment the final auction bid was called, the room buzzed with tension.

Lin Feng leaned back on an expensive leather couch, casually swirling his drink. The air was thick with the scent of cigars and expensive cologne. Around him, the so-called elite were trying to process what had just happened.

Zhao Ming wiped his forehead, his whiskey glass trembling. "He just… spent that much without hesitation?"

Wang Yifan massaged his temples. "I need therapy after this."

Meanwhile, Luo Zixuan had already disappeared—probably too embarrassed to show his face.

Yan Xiaoyu kept fidgeting with the luxury car key in her hand, still in disbelief. "There's no way this is real. Any second now, security will—"

Shen Xinya stared at the ownership documents. "Either this ink is legit, or I'm about to be arrested for witnessing fraud."

Lin Feng glanced at his watch. Then—

Silence.

The entire room went still as she entered.

She walked like she owned the world—her deep blue dress clinging in all the right places, heels clicking against the marble floor like a countdown to disaster. Her smile? The kind that ruined men.

Su Lian lifted her champagne flute, her voice smooth as silk. "That necklace… The last owner jumped from his penthouse while wearing it."

Lin Feng smirked. "Guess that means I'm next."

A champagne glass slipped from someone's fingers, shattering on the floor.

Shen Xinya whispered in shock. "He's flirting with Su Lian? The Su Lian?"

Lin Feng stretched, cracking his spine. "I've always liked dangerous things." His gaze slowly traced her silhouette. "And you, Miss Su, might be the deadliest in the room."

Zhao Ming nearly choked. "Did he just say that out loud?!"

Wang Yifan was already typing on his phone. "I need a lawyer… or an exorcist."

Su Lian laughed softly, her voice edged with amusement. "Careful, little tiger. I tend to devour men like you."

Just then, a server approached, his hands shaking as he handed Lin Feng a black envelope, thick and ominous.

The man's voice cracked. "The sender said… you'd understand the message."

Lin Feng ran his thumb over the wax seal before tearing it open. Inside, in bold blood-red ink, was just one sentence:

"Your move, player."
