Chapter 9 - Genius Son – Part 2

S International, President's Office.

Ye Chen sat on a leather sofa, wearing a perfectly tailored Armani suit. His devilishly handsome face and cold, sharp eyes gave off an air of elegant detachment.

Sunlight streamed in at an angle, dancing lightly on him, adding a layer of captivating intensity.

Ye Chen, 27 years old, third young master of the Ye family, Harvard graduate. He had taken over S International three years ago. In just a few years, using his own skills and sharp instincts, he had built a formidable reputation in the business world, elevating S International to a whole new level.

With an iron-fisted approach and decisive leadership, this young CEO was unstoppable in the corporate world—manipulating the winds and clouds at will.

He was also famously promiscuous. With his billions, stunning looks, and high social standing, Ye Chen was the dream catch of every debutante and socialite, even a coveted target among celebrities. He could have his pick of women—any shape, any style.

Rumor had it that Yun Ruoxi, heiress to the Yun Corporation, was his official girlfriend. They were supposedly on the verge of getting married, with gossip columns frequently publishing intimate photos of the two.

Even so, Ye Chen changed women faster than most could keep track. Actresses, socialites, elegant ladies, innocent beauties—none escaped his grasp once he showed interest.

Aside from Yun Ruoxi, no woman had lasted more than ten days by his side. Young Master Ye's rule of romance: start well, part well. His wealth and good looks made women flock to him, but his coldness and ruthlessness made them too afraid to linger.

Thus, the title: the Playboy CEO.

At this moment, his brows were tightly furrowed, his expression dark. His icy gaze swept over his secretary, You Lili.

You Lili was drenched in cold sweat. Even though she was the wife of one of his close friends, Ye Chen's piercing gaze still made her tremble. No one had expected her to suddenly get pregnant and need leave.

"President, I'll find a suitable replacement for my position," she said nervously.

"No need," Ye Chen replied coldly, his long, narrow eyes narrowing. "Inform HR to start recruiting."

You Lili hesitated, risking his wrath. "President, I have someone in mind. Could you please consider her?"

God help me, she thought. If I die trying to recommend her, so be it.

"Speak."

"Yes. I have a friend who worked as a secretary under the president of GK International for a year. She's just returned to the country and is looking for a job. Her abilities are top-notch. I'm confident she's even more qualified than I am."

GK International? Anyone who could last a year there had to be exceptional. That psycho Cross changed secretaries monthly. He had weird habits and sky-high standards—no fangirls, no pretty but useless types. Lasting three months under him already put someone in the elite category.

"Send her résumé to HR. No interview needed," Ye Chen said decisively. "She starts Monday."

"Yes, sir!"

At a certain apartment...

Cheng Anya picked up Li Yun's call, dumbfounded, silent for a while. "What the hell! Li Yun, are you out of your mind? You actually sent my résumé to S? Arghhh! I'm going to kill you!"

"Hey, girl! I went through a lot to get Lili to put in a word for you. What are you complaining about? Seventy thousand a month! If I had the qualifications, I'd go myself. You think you're too good for it? And besides, Ning Ning said you agreed! That's why I gave her your résumé. Anyway, it's done. You're reporting to the CEO's office on the 32nd floor of S on Monday. Got it? I'm busy, we'll talk tonight!"

Cheng Anya: (⊙o⊙)…

At the dinner table, Ning Ning sat looking sheepish, furrowing his little brows. His soft, milky voice full of guilt, "Mommy, I'm sorry. I thought you were eager to find a job, so I told Aunt Yun you agreed."

"It's okay, baby, it's okay. Mommy was originally going to join Uncle Zekun at Yaohua Group… No worries, I'll just turn it down. Mwah! Not a big deal, Mommy will go talk to Uncle Zekun."

"Mommy's not mad at Ning Ning?"

"Even if Ning Ning sells Mommy off, she'll help him count the money," Cheng Anya said, kissing her son's soft little cheek—completely missing the sly grin that briefly flashed across his lips.

Mommy… I really did sell you off!
