Wei was on his way to school when the bus he was riding suddenly stopped at a waiting area to pick up passengers. Most of the people boarding were employees, but one of them was a Grade 10 student named Elenita. Inside the bus, Elenita searched for a vacant seat. The only unoccupied spot she found was next to Wei, located in the rear left corner of the bus. She made her way over and sat down.
Wei, who had been gazing out the window, noticed someone had taken the seat beside him. Turning his head, he saw her and was startled to find a pretty girl sitting next to him. Elenita also glanced at Wei and, much to her surprise, found him equally attractive.
"Hey, are you from Montalban High?" Elenita asked.
Wei smiled. "Yup. Why?"
"Oh, sorry to bother you. I'm new here. I go to Montalban High too."
Intrigued, Wei decided to keep the conversation going.
"I see. What grade are you in?" he asked.
"Grade 10," Elenita replied.
"We're in the same grade! What section are you in?" Wei asked with growing excitement.
"Section 1," Elenita answered with a smile.
Hearing this, Wei felt a pang of disappointment. He had hoped they might be in the same section.
"Section 1?" he repeated, his face falling slightly.
"Yes," Elenita said, still smiling but confused by Wei's reaction.
As she smiled, Wei noticed her upper teeth were damaged. His expression shifted slightly, betraying his surprise. Elenita caught his reaction and quickly turned her face away, feeling a bit embarrassed. Wei, realizing his mistake, felt awkward, worrying that she had seen his reaction.
After fifteen minutes, the bus arrived at a station near Montalban High. Elenita hurried off the bus, and Wei couldn't shake the feeling that she might not want to talk to him again.
From that day on, Wei often found himself trying to catch glimpses of Elenita, passing by the Grade 10 Section 1 classroom near Corregidor. Every time he saw her, he thought, "Wow, she's still so pretty to me. I want to make her my wife when the right time comes."
One day, after school, Wei spotted Elenita at the bus waiting station. Summoning his courage, he approached her and stood nearby. Not wanting to seem awkward, he decided to ask her a question.
"Hey, does Ms. Mendoza also teach math in your class?"
Elenita looked at him hesitantly before replying, "Yes, why?"
Wei smiled, happy that she responded. "Oh, nothing. I was just wondering if she gives your class quizzes every day too."
"Of course, she does. Why? Are you having trouble with her quizzes?"
Elenita raised her eyebrows.
"Ah, a little, but I am improving every day, hehe." Wei scratched his head.
Elenita turned her face away from Wei and didn't bother to chat. Wei felt a little hurt by that, and when he noticed Elenita's demeanor, it seemed like she wasn't interested in him. But somehow, he thought that maybe Elenita was just shy because of what had happened the first time they met. So, he still tried talking to her again despite the attitude she showed him.
"Oh, are you waiting for your boyfriend? You look worried."
When Elenita heard this, she looked at Wei and almost laughed. "No, I'm just waiting for the bus."
Wei smiled and felt relieved by Elenita's response. "Ah, okay. Me too."
Wei was looking at the sky, thinking about all the moments from when he first met Elenita. Having already finished collecting the gold coins and the items Gringo dropped, he remembered one of his goals for coming to the world of Birigan.
"Elenita, once I've earned enough gold, I'll return to our world and take you to a dentist. Then you'll be able to smile beautifully, and we can live our lives together."
A window screen appeared near Wei with a caption that read, "You have developed new abilities." Wei felt excited about the Soul System update.
"Wisdom, explain my new ability."
A chat window generated on the screen, explaining Wei's new abilities.
*********************************************************************************************
YOUR MANA REGENERATION HAS INCREASED. YOU CAN NOW GENERATE TWENTY MANA POINTS PER SECOND. YOU CAN ALSO STORE YOUR FULL MANA BY CREATING A SMALL
PEARL INSIDE YOUR BODY.
*********************************************************************************************
Wei typed on the window screen, naming his new abilities "Mana Stream" for mana regeneration and "Mana Pearl" for storing mana. Both skills were added to his system profile. After that, he left the castle and went to the castle gate, where he met the wild bird waiting for him. Wei was happy petting the wild bird when a window screen appeared.
****************************************************************
THIS WILD BIRD IS ALREADY HUNGRY, TIME TO FEED HIM!
FEED
*****************************************************************
Wei tapped the feed button.
*****************************************************************
YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PELLETS TO FEED THE WILD BIRD
TO BUY PELLETS, YOU HAVE TO VISIT A BEAST STORE.
*****************************************************************
"Damn, does that mean you wouldn't be able to fly without eating first?"
"Quacckkk!" The wild bird replied to Wei.
"Haha! You sounded like a duck. No prob, we'll just teleport back to Fenix City to buy some pellets."
Wei uses his teleportation scroll by tapping on the window screen, a circle line of light appeared on the ground where he and the wild bird stood then a bright light began to emit from the circle, enveloping them both and making them disappear. In an instant, the two were teleported back to Fenix city. Wei left the wild bird in the front of an armor shop then he started looking for the old elf's stall. Wei also noticed, there are a lot of sorcerer, swordsman and other type of warriors around the town, most of them are buying items from the stalls around the area. Wei also remembered what the old man told him, he might get arrested if some military personnel finds him.
"I must hurry, I already have enough gold coins to purchase the teleportation scroll, so once I get the scroll, I should leave this world immediately."
From killing the paladins, King Isa and the other four Biriganians, Wei earned a total of three million and one hundred eighty gold points. More than enough gold points to buy the teleportation scroll from the old elf. Wei kept walking until he found the old elf, then he ran towards its stall.
"Hey mister! I already have enough gold points to buy your scroll, give that to me now, quick!"
The old elf was surprised to see Wei. "Oh, it's you again. I didn't expect you to come back here in my store in just a short time."
"Yeah, me too. But I don't have a time to chat, remember you told me that I might get arrested for having magic powers and skills? So you better give the teleportation scroll to me now before some military finds me here."
The old elf smiled. "No problem, I will hand you the scroll right now."
"Level 23, class: Blader. Wei L. Panganiban. Name and class do not exist in the Fenix military database. Then who are you?" said the elf ranger, standing not too far behind Wei. He was looking at the screen displayed above Wei's head.
Wei was surprised by what the elf ranger said. He turned around anxiously and replied, "Oh, I am just a visitor here in this city. I'm actually going back to my world now."
The elf ranger looked at Wei suspiciously. "Going back to your world? Well, if you're not from Fenix, then you're a rogue trying to steal some gold or kill someone to level up. And you're an idiot, too, for not concealing your profile. The elf ranger pulled out his two Berettas, which looked like futuristic pistols, and pointed them at Wei. The old elf, holding a scroll, was stunned at the sight of the elf ranger.
A screen appeared in front of Wei.
*******************************************
JOHN GUN IS INVITING YOU TO A DUEL.

******************************************
Wei immediately pressed the "No" button. "Wait! I really don't want to steal anything or kill someone just to level up. And I'm not even a rogue! Just let me go, and I promise not to come back here!" Wei begged, trying to avoid a fight with the elf ranger.
"Hey, Mr. Ranger, before you try fighting him, can I just give this teleportation scroll to him first so I can get my gold?" The old elf interrupted with a sly smile.
John Gun glanced at the scroll, curiosity flickering across his face. "To what place does that teleportation scroll lead?" he asked.
Wei answered quickly, "To the human world!"
"The human world?" John Gun repeated, clearly surprised. He let out a hearty laugh. "Hahaha! Instead of getting yourself killed by the guardian of the portal to the human world, why not fight me instead? You'd have a better chance of surviving against me than against a level 9999 guardian."
John Gun grinned menacingly. Wei was stunned. He couldn't believe what he'd just heard. The idea of the portal back to the human world being guarded had never crossed his mind.
"A guardian? Are you saying I can't go back to the human world without fighting some high-level creature?" Wei asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
"What a naive guy," John Gun scoffed. "Next time you visit a different world, make sure you do your research."
Wei turned to the old elf, anger flashing in his eyes. "Why didn't you tell me about the guardian of the portal to the human world?!"
The old elf shrugged, feigning innocence. "I wasn't even aware of it."
"Of course he was," John Gun said with a grin. "He was just trying to scam a naive person like you. Haha!"
