Chapter 6 - CHAPTER SIX

"Sharon baby, are you going shopping with us?" Madina asked eyeing her as Sharon shaked her head.

"No, I won't." She answered as rose sneered at her.

"So, you already have a dress?" She asked.

Even if I did, you think I'll tell you witches. So you all can go and reap my dress. She thought as she smiled at them.

"I couldn't get one and I need to head to the bakery." She said.

"You're always so busy with that bakery of yours but still no progress. Why don't you just sell it." Shirley said as Sharon frowned.

"Don't cross the line Shirley." She warned as Shirley rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. Just make sure you come early. I don't want you embarrassing us." Madina said.

"We don't want people tweeting that you're jealous of Madison, that's why you couldn't come." Rose said as Sharon clenched her fists.

 "I'm not jealous." She snapped.

"Then prove it." Rose said smiling sweetly.

"And don't forget to bring that pauper husband of yours." Madina said as the sisters laughed.

Sharon turned her back leaving. There was no use exchanging words with them. They were not worth it.

"Sir, it's almost time for the party. You should be getting ready." Jay said.

"What's the hurry? You know how I like my entries to be and moreover the Wilmorts are not that too important for them to expect me to grace my presence to them. I'll go when I deem fit." He said as Jay nodded.

 "Yes sir." He answered.

"Have you checked on Sharon? He asked.

"Yes sir. Your men are keeping an eye on her as you instructed." Jay said as Ethan nodded going back to his work.

"Would you like us to give you a ride, Sharon dear?" Shirley asked immediately Sharon stepped in.

"Thanks but I'll pass. I haven't gotten my dress yet." She answered.

"That's too bad." Rose said standing up. You can come to me. I could lend you a dress. She offered.

"Thank you for your kind offer but I'm good." She declined.

"You won't make it in time if you don't take the clothes I'm offering." She said but Sharon still declined.

"Suit yourself but I tried helping." She said.

"You don't have to force her Rosie bear. She can do whatever she likes." Eli said come down the stairs with his wife.

"Come on girls. Let's get going. We can't afford to be late. It's your sister's day." Liddy said

"See you sis." Rose said smiling as they left.

When they left, Sharon heaved a sigh of relief. She was happy that they had left. They were such a pain in the ass. While standing there, she remembered she had to make a phone call.

"I hope everything is okay?" She asked. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. She said ending the call.

Everywhere was bubbling. The decorations were beautiful as rich and wealthy snobs littered everywhere. The Wilmorts really went out on this one. After all their first child was getting married.

"The decors are unique, Madina." A woman complimented hugging her.

"Thank you." She said smiling. You know how I like to do my best in everything. She said as other women approached her for a discussion when she sighted Jason.

"Um, excuse me ladies. I need to speak with my husband." She said smiling sweetly excusing herself. "Took you so long." She said sipping her wine.

"I'm here now." He said looking around spotting a friend on his face.

"Smile honey. People would think you were forced into marriage." She said as he sighed.

"Where's Sharon?" He asked as she rolled her eyes.

"Look, you…" they were interrupted by a couple.

"Mr. and Mrs. Wilmort." They called as Jason and Madina has to put up a smile.

"Mr. Davidson, Mrs. Davidson." Jason called acknowledging them.

"Beautiful decors." She complimented as Madina held Jason's hand smiling.

"Why, we have to applaud my wife for that. She's good at what she does." He said as Mrs. Davidson smiled at Madison.

"You two look good together." She said.

"I agree with my wife." Her husband chimed in.

"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Davidson but I assume what you're saying is that I and my husband are matches made from heaven." Madina said as they laughed.

"What a smart woman you got here, Mr. Wilmort." Mr. Davidson said as Jason nodded smiling.

"Ok then. We'll give the newly Weds a time alone." They said leaving.

Immediately they left, Jason removed his hand from Marina's grip making her frown. She just rolled her eyes.

"We're already married. So you'll have to get used to being around me all the time." She said as they heard Sharon's name.

"Sharon Moore." The doorman called as all eyes were on her.

And just like that people began to murmur. Sharon could hear words from every corner as people talked not caring if she was listening.
