Chapter 48 - Chapter:48

After Satoshi logged out, he ordered some food. With plenty of money on hand, he didn't hold back and indulged in a good meal to treat himself.

After eating, he took a long, relaxing bath and went to bed, sleeping more soundly than ever.

While Satoshi enjoyed a peaceful rest, the official forums of Pokémon Generations were anything but quiet—they had erupted with activity.

Despite the late hour, the Pokémon Generations forum was buzzing with life.

Threads were being posted by the second, all clamoring for attention. Unsurprisingly, the name "Satoshi" dominated the trending topics.

"Shock! The great Satoshi is leveling up like this?"

"I'm Satoshi's friend, and I have something to say!"

"Satoshi, name your price—I want your Pokémon!"

"Kneeling before Satoshi's leveling strategy!"

"Take me to the top, Satoshi!"

"Analyzing if Satoshi is cheating or just a god."

The forum was flooded with posts trying to cash in on the popularity of this mysterious and legendary player.

"Satoshi is at the top of four ranking lists. That's insane!"

"Right? And how on earth does he already have three Pokémon with Champion-level potential? That's god-tier luck!"

"The potential breakthrough items are supposed to be ridiculously rare. How did he get so many of them so quickly?"

"This is what separates the pros from the casuals, folks. But seriously, having three Champion-potential Pokémon on Day 1? That's borderline unfair."

This particular thread focused on Satoshi's Pokémon potential levels, with many speculating how he achieved this feat. Most players had no idea how to even acquire the necessary items.

"What's up with the leaderboard? How are those players leveling so fast?"

"Bro, I've been grinding all day, and I'm only level 8. How did these people hit level 10 already?"

"Let's be real—they're probably cheating. Especially those seven players who hid their names on the list. Why did their levels suddenly stop increasing? Suspicious, right?"

"Cheating is one thing, but Satoshi's stats are outright ridiculous. Two Pokémon above level 25 on Day 1? That's not even fair."

"Exactly. Satoshi's probably hacking too. No way this is legit."

"Haha, salty much? The guy's just better than you."

"Do you think those hidden players are Satoshi's squad?"

Many players questioned the legitimacy of the hidden-name trainers on the leaderboard, suspecting foul play. However, Satoshi's dominance across multiple lists was harder to dismiss as cheating—it was more believable that he was just absurdly skilled and lucky.

Another popular thread turned its attention to the Trainer Ranking and Badge Ranking lists.

"Is Satoshi seriously the only player on the Intermediate Trainer list?"

"Forget about joining him there, dude. You need a Pokémon at level 20 to qualify. Right now, only those hidden players on the level leaderboard can catch up to him."

"The Badge list might be easier to climb. There's a gym in Pewter City, and beating the Gym Leader gets you a badge."

"Yeah, but good luck getting through Viridian Forest. The wild Pokémon there are tough—levels 6 to 12—and most players' teams aren't strong enough to handle more than a few fights before they need to retreat for supplies."

"That explains why Satoshi got through so quickly. With two level 20 Pokémon, he must have blitzed through the forest without breaking a sweat."

Players were awestruck by Satoshi's accomplishments. His dominance on both the Trainer and Badge rankings made him stand out, with many wondering who would be the first to catch up.

"Yo, is Satoshi contracting the world announcements today?"

"Let's see—level 10, Elite potential breakthrough, Pokémon evolution, Intermediate Trainer, and the Badge announcement. That's five announcements today, all from Satoshi."

"Five announcements in a single day? The guy's basically a world-announcement speedrunner."

"This is what it looks like to live in a pro's world."

"I'm so sick of hearing the name 'Satoshi.' Is there a way to turn off world announcements?"

"Sorry, buddy. Pokémon Generations doesn't let you mute world announcements. Better get used to it."

Several disgruntled players attempted to report Satoshi for "cheating," only to discover there was no customer support team for the game. Frustrated, they flooded the forums with complaints, but it ultimately amounted to nothing.

Satoshi woke up early and started his day by washing up. He ordered a hearty breakfast and opened the Pokémon Generations forum while eating—a habit he had developed in his past life to stay updated on any useful hidden quest information.

As he scrolled through the threads, he found nothing but endless discussions about himself.

"It's just envy, jealousy, and hate," Satoshi muttered, smirking at the posts.

While the comments amused him, they were ultimately meaningless noise.

"These players don't understand the stakes. They're too busy with petty arguments to realize that this world will eventually become real. Everything I achieve here will translate to power in reality."

Pleased with his foresight and progress, Satoshi finished his breakfast, closed the forum, and logged back into the game.

"Ding! Welcome back, player 'Satoshi,' to Pokémon Generations α!

Satoshi spawned in the Trainer-exclusive room of the Pokémon Center.

His three Pokémon—Charmeleon, Frogadier, and Treecko—had already woken up and were finishing their breakfast.

After ensuring they were ready, Satoshi recalled them to their Poké Balls and left the Pokémon Center, setting his sights on Mt. Moon.
