Elaris brown eyes glistened dangerously,her lips twisted into an ugly scowl as she stood in front of Zade,the blade raised high over her head. She looked only a few seconds away from stabbing him in his heart with it.
Zade raised his eyes, staring at her, completely unbothered by her theatrics. "I'm not here to fight you Elaris. So you don't have to get all violent" he said in a casual, almost amused voice. He spoke as though they were long time friends and he only came to pay a friendly visit.
Isla could still feel the sticky lines the vines had left on her skin when it curled around her. She stepped forward cautiously. "We didn't mean to intrude. We're really sorry for disturbing you but it's very important" she said in a soft and respectful voice trying to show that she meant no harm.
