Next to both sides of the throne stood two men, both clearly acting as advisors to the king.

King's advisors were Infidels however they were not demon worshipers so they earned the tiniest bit of respect.
"You too! Kneel before the king!" Guard shouted at Cedric, his pathetic orders clearly not affecting the man.
Guards around them raised their weapons.
Cedric turned to the guard, his presence suffocating as if the room was filled with thick smoke, "I only kneel before the Lord, lower your weapons before I take your life. Demon worshippers."
"You are threatening a royal guard! Arrest him!" With a shout the guards started moving, their weapons raised.
At the order, Aurelia was about to beg them to reconsider, not because she was worried for Cedric's safety but because she knew how ruthless he would be to his enemies.
She did not wish her Father to become the enemy of her beloved.
A small chuckle could be heard beneath Cedric's helmet, before erupting in a loud laugh.
"I am not in a good mood, Stand back or else..." [Divine Charm] activated, forcing everyone to freeze in their place.
"It is alright, stand back." King waved off the guards.
"But my liege!" Man protested.
"I said it's alright." With the king's permission, the guard had no choice but to stand back.
However guards could not move, They were frozen, their weapons in hand.
"I presume you are the hero Cedric that returning soldiers spoke about?" King spoke calmly, sizing up the warrior.
"Could you please release my guards? They are merely performing their duty." King asked, a tinge of fear visible on his old face.
"They were fools to raise the weapons against me and the First Star. But I shall show forgiveness as Jesus would want me to." [Divine Charm] fell, forcing some guards to fall from the sheer pressure.
"Thank you, I presume it was your doing that we were able to capture so many Demi-Human slaves and take Vitpacar?" King asked inquisitively.
"I played a part, but the glory of that mission belongs to God," Cedric stated as if it was the most natural thing to say.
The king nodded before he turned to Aurelia, "Due to this gentleman, trash like the 4th legion was able to secure an immense amount of slaves, and the town of Vitpacar."
Murmurs of the guards reverberated through the throne room.
Aurelia clenched her fists, tears welling up in her eyes.
"To think, a princess of fools had such immense luck as to get her whole legion a victory where not even 1st or 2nd legion could pull it off. Of course, it was not due to her own skill." King mocked her.
The king contained his laugh before turning to Cedric. "I wish to offer you a place in 1st Legion, Only the most trained and prestigious soldiers ever had a chance to join and you have the honor of joining."
The king spoke with pride like he had made an offer nobody couldn't refuse, question made in a way that it sounded more like an order.
Aurelia looked at the king, and then at Cedric with visible fear in her eyes, an emotion Cedric was not blind to.
Her hands were shaking as she was about to speak, she worried Cedric would abandon her.
"The Princess of Fools will not be leading the 4th legion anymore, she had committed treachery by ordering assassination against the 1st prince!" The king spoke coldly.
"A child of concubine, a princess in name, and yet she dared scheme against her pure-blooded siblings."
"You, sir Cedric, will, of course, be spared as you will be a high-ranking member of the 1st Legion, but Aurelia will have to be punished. She will face trial, and for treachery of the highest order, she shall be executed." The king spoke, his words cold as ice.
Aurelia's shock was evident, she knew nothing about the assassination attempt, and no she had assassins sent for her life too.
"Father! Assassins were after me too! Why would I go after my brother!?" Aurelia frantically defended herself.
"I have no reason to trust you, Princess of Fools. Assasins we captured have confessed it was your scheme, you filth!" The King gripped the armrest of his throne as he spoke.
"Arrest her!" The king ordered, clearly not willing to hear out his daughter.
She looked with fear, a fear that was not needed as Cedric spoke in her defense.
"Silence, you Infidels! You dare raise a blade against the First Star once again. Forgiveness is a resource only God has in abundance. You are the king of a Godless nation. You speak of treachery, and yet you are a traitor in the eyes of God. I refuse to join your legion of Infidels." Cedric spoke his words carrying the weight of [Divine Charm].
Aurelia looked at Cedric with glistering eyes, clearly rejoicing at the fact he was defending her.
"You call her Princess of Fools, and yet only fools I see are you. Fools that worship false gods!" Cedric gripped Equilibrium's handle.
"How dare you draw your weapon! Kill him!" Lure ordered.
However, no guard moved.
"Infidels will go blind when staring at the presence of God's Chosen, the Impure will find themselves weak and unable to stand. Demon Worshippers will burn in the holy fire." Cedric's voice was heavy, suffocating, and oppressive.
Both advisors cast their spells. [Ice Lance] [Fireball].
A cloud of steam covered the throne room, however the man stood unharmed.
Even the King who proudly stood defiant shrunk back, powerless in the face of the monster in front of him.
"Aurelia, rise. You will not kneel before Infidels anymore!" Cedric ordered Aurelia who was happy to oblige.
"Infidels, Demon worshippers. King of Godless nation. You tarnish the image of God's creation!" Fury in Cedric's voice was palpable.
He had promised Aurelia she would be safe, and these Infidels dared test him. They dared test the patience of God's Chosen with their petty laws. Laws of Infidels meant nothing, as only God's laws were worth following.
"Mortal Law is beneath God's Chosen, I hereby pardon Aurelia of any mortal crime you might have accused her of. Dare defy me and you will face God's Wrath!" As he spoke Guards fell like flies, suffocating at the holy power surging through the air like electricity.
Two advisors were about to protest before Cedric's glare silenced them.
"She is The First Star, And you will treat her as such, King of Godless nation." Cedric pointed Equilibrium at the king, who at the scene shrunk back into the throne, his pride disappearing as his Guards fell.
[Divine Zeal] saturated the air with holy energy to such a level that those who were impure could not breathe.
Those considered unforgivable to God's Chosen burst into flames, reduced to nothing but ash.
A scene that horrified frozen guards that were left alive.
A monster that made the elite King's Guard feel like ants, nobody would dare go against the man who seemed to disregard the King's authority without fear.
