It did not take long after Aurelia's destruction of the palace wall for Cedric to arrive in the room. She was still looking at her hands, shock evident on her face.
Her gaze met with Cedric before switching back to her hands.
"Did... did you make me able to do this?" Aurelia spoke with astonishment; she knew that he was powerful, but to bestow such a power on her was beyond her wildest dreams.
"Yes, you are now as powerful as Dominion. I expect you to master this power promptly." Cedric sounded strict, but she didn't mind; after all, she was still riding high from her dream.
'I would ride him too... No, Aurelia, get a hold of yourself.' She was almost overwhelmed by lust and yet she reined herself in.
"What training?" She asked with a slight blush.
"To control your new power. You do not wish to destroy your kingdom, do you? Queen Aurelia?" Cedric teased slightly, which made Aurelia avert her gaze.
With a soft whisper, she replied, "You saying it gives me confidence...".
Cedric looked her over, She needed proper armor as her's was ruined again.
'She has a tendency to ruin her armor, huh?' He crossed his arms as he tried to think of a way to teach her control.
Once God had granted him power, he had innately known how to restrain it, however, he was not God, and his power needed to be mastered if she didn't wish to reduce Valar to rubble.
"We are starting in an hour; get any armor or clothing. This cannot wait, so hurry." With those words, he left Aurelia alone.
Aurelia didn't question him; after all she was glad to obey her beloved. If she was to make her sweet dream a reality, she needed to prove herself even more.
She rose to her feet before removing her armor, her grip denting it; once again, she had ruined a set of armor.
'Not my fault!' She defended herself from nobody.
She gripped the handle of the nearby wardrobe before snapping it off by accident.
"Fuck..." She looked at the snapped wooden handle in her hand.
In her hand, wood felt like it was made of foam, so easy to shatter. She tightened her fist, making the wood shatter with ease.
'I...' She was speechless. While she was extremely happy her beloved had granted her such power, it really caused inconvenience at the moment.
With a sigh, Aurelia muttered, "I guess this is why he urged me to hurry."
She decided to go to her chambers. While the king's chambers were sure to have both clothes and spare armor sets, she wanted to at least look presentable to her beloved.
She approached the chamber doors. With great care, she gripped the handle and pushed, fortunately gently enough for them not to shatter.
Her gaze washed over the palace. Piles of dust were all around her, former Guards that dared stand in Cedric's way.
She knew nobody was left alive in the palace; everyone was reduced to nothing.
'It is all the fault of father...' She felt sad for the guards and workers, however, it was all the fault of the former king.
She made her way through the sea of ash and dust, making her way to her chambers.
It was located far away from other royal chambers, isolated from both the King's and her siblings' quarters, a testament to her position within the royal family.
She cared not for it anymore; she had a position next to her beloved, and that's all that mattered.
Her father was dead, her brother was nowhere to be found, and her other siblings were scattered in different countries.
She pushed at her door, which was apparently locked, and yet with her newfound strength, she forced it open, breaking the lock with ease.
'This will take time getting used to...' She smiled slightly; her beloved had granted her so much.
The room was plain, more resembling servant quarters than anything a royal chamber should look like.
A single, plain bed, wardrobe, a window. A small table close to the window.
A bookshelf was leaning against the wall on the opposite side of the room.
No gaudy decorations, no gold or silver. It was as ordinary as it gets.
Even when compared to servant quarters, her chambers were incredibly ordinary. A testament to her role.
She turned towards her wardrobe, she wouldn't need armor for now.
With great care, she slowly wrapped her fingers around the handle, and with the most gentle pull she had ever done, she opened the wardrobe.
While she wanted to dress in something fancy just for her beloved, she knew she just needed something practical.
'I... don't have anything...' She sighed; her entire wardrobe consisted of dresses, something that was forced upon her by Avaros.
One of many reasons she preferred to wear armor constantly.
She slowly removed the rest of the torn underarmor, before shortly replacing it with one of the plainer dresses she could find.
She did not know what her training would entail.
'If Cedric tears it up, I wouldn't mind ~' She couldn't help but let her mind wander.
She giggled slightly before making her way outside her chambers.
She made her way towards the garden, where Archangels and Cedric waited.
The garden contained 2 tables, each containing 30 eggs. 10 guardians were lines behind the tables, waiting motionlessly.
"Ah, Aurelia, just in time. Are you ready?" Cedric spoke softly.
"Of course, my love! Always ready for you." She said with excitement.
"Excellent. let's begin."
As usual, Cedric didn't call her his love, however, Aurelia knew she was on the right path.
'I will make sure my dream becomes a reality, even if I die trying! God, please grant me guidance.' She prayed in her mind.
No, it was God himself showing her prophecy. Once her mission was complete, she would have opportunity, but she would need to prove herself.
"As a first task, I want you to pick up these eggs without shattering them," Cedric stated. a simple task quickly followed by him wrapping his hand around it, and yet she knew that she would struggle to control her own power.
"Ok!" Aurelia nodded as she approached a table.
