I was not sure if I had gone past any form of boundaries when the clothing attendant picked up many items for me. So far, I had over twelve bags with multiple clothes in them, five extra bags with shoe boxes in them and in another three bags, perfumes, soaps, lotions. It felt odd as I had expected Maxim to take me to a dollar store to get cheap items like a few shirts and pants.
Buying expensive outfits that had a price tag that could last me the whole year was unexpected of him. I have never bought clothes this high in cost before and so far from the receipt, he had spent close to $18,000 on me. Even though he was a jerk to me, it still felt weird for him to do for me. I never knew spending a huge amount of money on someone or something you hated was possible.
