Chapter 8 - Date part 2

They left the Cafe and went to a restaurant; as nice as the Café was, Yukari kinda destroyed the date's mood, thereby showing up; they went to the Restaurant with both girls hugging Chris's arm.

They walked as they went to the receptionist. "Table for 3 please".

The woman looked as she spoke. "Oh, and is this Date?".

Chris then spoke. "Friendly hangout".

She took to their table, took their order, and then Yukari and Reimu saw that no one was looking at them, so they pinched Chris's cheeks.

"Friendly Hangout".

Chris winced as both girls pinched his cheeks, his voice muffled. "Ow, ow, okay, fine! It's a date!"

Yukari smirked. "Much better~."

Reimu nodded in agreement. "At least act like you're happy to be here with us."

Chris sighed but smiled. "I am happy. Just didn't want to make a scene, alright?"

The two girls let go, satisfied, as their food arrived. The waiter set down their dishes with a polite nod before stepping away.

Yukari picked up her chopsticks and grinned. "You know, Chris, for someone with such a dangerous reputation, you're pretty cute when flustered."

Reimu smirked. "I agree. It's nice to see him squirm for once."

Chris rolled his eyes as he started eating. "You two are enjoying this way too much."

Yukari giggled. "Of course we are~. It's our job to keep you entertained."

Chris shook his head, a small smile tugging at his lips. "This is going to be a long night, isn't it?"

Reimu chuckled. "Oh, you have no idea."

Chris took a bite of his fish as he spoke. "My Reputation isn't that dangerous".

He fed Yukari some of the Fish, and she fed him back as she spoke. "Oh really?".

Chris took another bite of his food and fed some to Reimu, and Reimu fed him back. "I am just now as the Guiding Angel's".

Reimu then spoke as she drank her water. "Yes, The Guiding Angels who have eaten 1 Billion Souls in Muenzuka".

Chris wiggled his finger left and right as he spoke. "Bad souls".

Yukari ggiggledas she spoke. "Not all the Yokai know about".

Chris shrugged as he took another bite. "I don't really care what they know. The ones that matter understand the difference."

Reimu leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand. "Maybe, but that doesn't stop rumors. Some say you're more of a demon than an angel."

Chris chuckled. "Yeah? Let them talk. At the end of the day, I do what needs to be done."

Yukari smirked, playfully nudging him. "Still, a billion souls? Even I have to admit, that's impressive~."

Chris sighed. "Like I said, bad souls. Rapists, murderers, the truly irredeemable. You think I'd go around eating innocent people?"

Reimu shrugged. "I know you wouldn't, but that doesn't mean others aren't wary."

Chris leaned back in his chair. "Let them be. I don't need everyone's approval."

Yukari chuckled as she twirled her chopsticks. "That's what I like about you, Chris. You do your own thing, no matter what."

Reimu sighed but smiled. "Just don't let it get out of hand. If you ever do go too far, I'll be the first to stop you."

Chris smirked. "I'd expect nothing less."

The conversation shifted to lighter topics as Chris finished his meal, the atmosphere now more relaxed. Yukari leaned back in her chair, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"You know," she said, "this whole 'date with two beautiful girls' thing is starting to grow on me."

Reimu raised an eyebrow, her tone teasing. "So, you think we're beautiful, huh?"

Chris shrugged nonchalantly, clearly enjoying the playful banter. "I think I'm lucky, that's all."

Yukari laughed softly. "Don't think we didn't notice how you dodged the compliment, Chris."

"Hey, I'm just stating the obvious," he replied with a grin. "But let's be real, I didn't exactly expect to be juggling dates with two very persistent women, so I'll take what I can get."

Reimu shot him a sly look. "Persistent, huh? You make it sound like we're a burden."

"Not a burden," Chris said quickly, holding up his hands in defense. "Just... a challenge. A fun one, of course."

Yukari leaned forward, her gaze playful. "A challenge? You make it sound like you're some sort of prize to be won."

Chris smirked, leaning back in his seat. "Well, isn't that what a date is, after all? A little competition for attention?"

Reimu crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing slightly, though she was clearly enjoying the game. "If that's the case, then I'll make sure I win."

Yukari chuckled, raising her hand. "Not so fast, Reimu. You've had him all to yourself before. It's my turn now."

Chris sat back, watching the two women banter back and forth. It was amusing, almost as if they were both competing for a prize that was, in his mind, shared between them. He could never have imagined this kind of situation years ago, but here he was, the center of attention between two very powerful, very determined women.

"Alright, alright," Chris said, raising his hands in mock surrender. "You two are impossible."

Yukari winked at him. "Just admit it, Chris. You like the attention."

Chris chuckled and shook his head. "Maybe a little, but don't get used to it."

Reimu smirked. "You're the one who started this, so you can't complain now."

Chris leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table. "Fair enough. I guess I'll just enjoy the ride while it lasts."

The three of them shared a laugh, the tension that had built up earlier in the evening now dissipating, leaving behind only the easy camaraderie of friends—or maybe something more.

After that, they left the restaurant as the people were looking at them, mostly the girls who were seeing Chris with Jealousy.

Yukari spoke looking at the eyes. "My, we are getting some attention".

Chris rolled his eyes as he spoke. "Let them be".

Reimu looked as she Giggled. "You have to admit, you love getting Attention, even this type of attention".

Chris laughed as he spoke. "Yeah, no shit, I have told you two about my childhood, remember, and how I lived".

Reimu sighed as she spoke. "Ah yes, your child of being semi-neglected, bully brother that scared with his Foxy mask, your overworking dad, your twin sister and your Mom".

Chris spoke looking at them. "The Afton family was something".

Yukari raised an eyebrow, glancing at Chris with an intrigued look. "Hmm, it sounds like a bit of a messed-up family dynamic, to say the least. But I suppose that's why you're so... interesting."

Chris gave a short laugh. "Yeah, it wasn't exactly the most ideal childhood, but I've managed. At least I got out of that mess."

Reimu smirked, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "And now you're here, with two beautiful women, enjoying a night out in the human world. Not a bad upgrade."

Chris scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, trying not to blush. "I guess. But, you know, that doesn't mean I don't still get the occasional reminder of the past."

Yukari placed a hand on his shoulder, her tone softening. "Everyone has their scars, Chris. But it's how we move forward that matters. And you've done more than most."

Reimu nodded in agreement, her voice warm but teasing. "Yeah, you've come a long way from being the shy, awkward kid hiding behind your plus toy."

Chris couldn't help but grin. "You're not wrong. But hey, I'm still here, and I've got you two. So I must be doing something right."

Yukari gave a playful laugh. "True. You definitely know how to survive, if nothing else."

Reimu nudged him gently. "And let's not forget, you have a certain charm about you. Even if you like to act like you don't."

Chris raised his hands in mock defense. "I'm just trying to survive the madness you two bring."

They all shared a light laugh as they walked through the streets, the tension from earlier fully gone, replaced by a camaraderie that felt natural. It wasn't perfect, but it was theirs, and that was enough.

As they continued their walk, Yukari suddenly looked up at the sky, her expression thoughtful. "You know, Chris, for all the chaos and trouble that follows you, I think you're doing alright. Life has a funny way of surprising us sometimes."

Chris glanced at her, his face softening. "Yeah... I never expected to be here, but I'm starting to think maybe it's where I'm supposed to be."

Reimu grinned mischievously. "Well, as long as we're here, I think this is just the beginning. You're in for a lot more surprises, whether you like it or not."

Chris smirked. "Bring it on. I think I'm ready for whatever comes next."

With that, the trio continued their walk, the night feeling a little lighter as they moved forward, together in their own strange, unexpected little world.

Yukari then looked at all the males looking at them. "So, do you want to?".

He wrapped his arms around bout girls as he spoke. "More Jealous? YES!, I like attention".

Yukari smirked, enjoying the playful tension in the air as she noticed the men staring at them. "I thought so," she teased, glancing around at the envious eyes of the onlookers. "You're shameless."

Chris chuckled, squeezing both girls gently. "I am who I am," he said with a grin. "I like attention. Besides, it's not every day you get two beautiful women by your side. Why not enjoy it?"

Reimu rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. "You're unbelievable," she said, though her tone was affectionate. "I think you might be loving this a bit too much."

Yukari chuckled. "It's not every day we get to make people jealous, is it? You should enjoy the moment while you can, Chris."

Chris shrugged nonchalantly, still keeping his arms wrapped around both of them. "Why not? Let them stare, let them wonder. It's not like they stand a chance anyway."

Reimu raised an eyebrow. "You really are full of yourself, huh?"

"Yeah, I guess," Chris admitted, giving a playful shrug. "But if they wanna look, they're welcome to. They don't realize they're just getting more of my attention, right?"

Yukari snickered. "Confidence is definitely one of your strengths, I'll give you that."

As they continued walking through the streets, the group attracted more attention, but Chris didn't mind. He was having too much fun, enjoying the playful banter between him and the two women, who seemed to have a natural chemistry of their own.

Reimu nudged him. "Just remember, this attention doesn't come without its consequences."

Chris raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Yukari smiled wickedly. "Well, now you have to deal with the consequences of our attention as well." She winked at him, her tone mischievous.

Chris grinned. "I can handle it. Bring it on."

Yukari then spoke looking at him. "I have the perfect place to end our date".

Chris looked at her as she spoke. "This better now me space like last time".

Yukari chuckled as she opened one for her gap, and the trio walked in, as now they were in a different country, french, to be precise, countryside, it was a bit confused, but then he saw a shooting star, then two, then 3 then a whole shower.

As they just sat down, Reimu rested her head on his shoulders, and a d Yukari sat on his lap, as the Trio saw it.

Chris looked around, still trying to make sense of the sudden change in scenery. The French countryside was a stark contrast to the bustling city they had left behind. He felt the crisp air, the quiet serenity, and the distant sounds of nature. It was peaceful, with the fields stretching far into the horizon.

"I have to admit, this is a pretty amazing view," Chris said, gazing up at the night sky.

Yukari, who had made herself comfortable on his lap, looked up too, her smile gentle but full of mischief. "I thought you might like it," she said, her voice soft. "The stars here are just perfect for a night like this."

Reimu, her head now resting on Chris's shoulder, let out a contented sigh. "It's quiet here. No distractions, no responsibilities." She smiled up at him, her eyes half-lidded. "Just us."

Chris looked down at her, his arms instinctively wrapping around her. "Yeah, it's a nice break from everything." He glanced up at the sky again, mesmerized by the meteor shower. "You outdid yourself, Yukari."

Yukari gave him a playful wink. "I try."

The three of them sat there in peaceful silence for a while, watching the stars fall. The world felt so distant here like time itself had slowed down just for them. Chris could feel the warmth of the two women close to him, and for once, he allowed himself to just enjoy the moment, not worrying about anything else.

"So," Yukari started after a while, breaking the comfortable silence, "how are you feeling now? With everything going on, I mean."

Chris hesitated, his gaze turning inward for a moment. The last few days had been... complicated. But right now, in this quiet countryside, surrounded by two women who cared for him, he could almost forget about the chaos that usually followed him.

"I'm... good," he finally said, his voice more relaxed than usual. "I'm glad you two are with me."

Reimu smiled up at him, her hand reaching out to hold his. "We're always going to be here for you, you know."

Yukari leaned in slightly, her hand resting on his chest. "Always."

Reimu looked at him as she licked her lips. "Now, to end this date as we always do".

Chris chuckled as he spoke. "As he spoke. "Yeah, I know how you two want this to end".

He listed Reimu's head as he kissed her, making sure his tongue wrapped around hers, as he does a French kiss; he had time to learn this.

As he splitted from her, a small trace of saliva made trale for both of them, Yukari then pulled Chris ready to get her own French kiss

Chris took a deep breath as he looked at both Reimu and Yukari, a grin forming on his face. "You two really don't know when to stop, do you?"

Reimu giggled, snuggling up to his side. "We just enjoy your company... a little too much, maybe."

Yukari, still sitting on his lap, gave him a mischievous look. "What's wrong? Not used to being the center of attention? I thought you'd enjoy it."

Chris smirked. "Oh, I do. But there's a limit, you know? Can't let you two spoil me too much."

Reimu rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh please, you've been spoiled since the day we met."

Yukari chuckled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "She's not wrong. You've always had a thing for attention, haven't you?"

Chris shrugged nonchalantly. "What can I say? It's not often I get to have such beautiful company."

Reimu smirked, looking at Yukari with a raised eyebrow. "Looks like someone's trying to charm their way out of trouble."

Yukari snorted, shaking her head. "Oh, we're not falling for that. But... we'll let it slide for now."

The three of them sat in comfortable silence for a moment, watching the shooting stars above. Chris, feeling unusually content, took a deep breath, letting the peaceful atmosphere wash over him.

Finally, Reimu broke the silence, her voice softer now. "You know, Chris, I really do enjoy moments like this... Just the three of us, no chaos, no drama."

Yukari nodded in agreement, leaning back slightly as she gazed up at the stars. "Same here. Sometimes, it's nice to just... be."

Chris smiled, feeling a warmth in his chest that had nothing to do with the stars above. "Yeah... I think I can get used to this."
