Katherine's POV
"Where have you been?" Jennifer sighed as I made my way into the company building.
It had to be serious if she had to wait for me at the entrance.
"I went out for lunch." I said, keeping up the lie.
"Must be some mountain of food that you had to wolf down." She snorted.
"Why were you looking for me?" I asked, hoping I didn't sound offensive.
She nodded. "Come to my office. Let's discuss there."
I nodded and walked after her, wiping off sweats from my hands. I had dashed up here so fast it was a miracle I hadn't twisted my ankles in the heels I wore.
"How far gone are you on your ideas for the Osten project?" she asked the moment she slid into her chair.
She didn't even wait for me to sit before bombarding me with questions. I sighed at her attitude, grateful she wasn't yelling at me. I took a seat and cleared my throat before speaking.
"Give me a moment to send the files to your mail." I breathed and brought out my phone.
