I just opened the door to my room to see saf there waiting for me
"about time you came out, i started to think you just fell alseep" saf complains as soon as she saw me
I know I wasn't in the room for all that long but I just let it go
" sorry, are you all good to go?" I ask
she beams "oh yeah, my room is so nice and clean and that tub is to die for"
I haven't checked the bathroom
I'll be sure to do that after dinner
" let's go im starving " saf said as she leads the way down the hall and back downstairs
looking around once we reach the bottom i see a vast majority of the girls at the tables looking at me and saf

I see the bartender come out from a side door near us with plates full of food in her hands
"just in time, here help me with these plates" the elf bartender says
me and saf both grab one "aren't you supposed to carry them and bring them to our table with a flourish. what kind of hostess are you" saf complained to the bartender
I guess she was still a little salty from earlier
" the kind that will kick you out of my establishment without a refund if you piss me off enough " the elf says over her shoulder as the walks to a empty table with a few other plates on it
once she reaches the table she sets the plates ahe still had down
before turning back to saf
" I have no problem with girls with a little bite to them, but this is my place of business. my current livelihood rests on this building. I won't let a little broke bi@#h, who I'd just starting to feel herself ruin that " the elf says to saf with serious look in her eyes
" if i find out the you have caused any problems or if you get fight with one pf my other patreons, I won't hesitate to kick you out" the bartender says before walking away leaving saf with a fish out of water look

but I noticed that she said it low as not to reach the elf who was selitting back at the bar

"well you did get on her bad side by yelling at her about the room price" I tell saf as we sit down and start to eat
" I couldn't help it, it slipped out. I still can't believe how she's robbing people like that in their faces." saf mumbled as she starts eating what I guess what would pass for a fruit salad
but the fruit was not ones I recognized
the other plates and a mix of some kind of pasta, roasted meat that looked pretty juicy.
there was also some kind of pot pie that tasted so good I mainly ate that along with some of the meat
I savored the meat as I don't have fresh meat in my belongings and it might be a minute before he eats some more
we wash down the meal with..
is this mead?

saf was quite after calming down a little and started to devouring what all i didn't eat
I just looked at her
" what? do you know how much any of this food would cost outside of here. honestly I can see why she charges so much now for food" saf defends herself when she see my face

" this wasn't just a regular meal? " I ask saf as these plates look regular to me
"are you kidding me!? All the ingredients used was top notch, and that fruit salad.... all I will say is that there was some very expensive fruit in it " sad said looking a bit downcast from what i guess was a waste to her
I shake my head at her
"well that was delicious anyway. I'm going back upstairs to lay down for the night. see you tomorrow?" I hesitate to say I'll see her tomorrow
I need to look around and find some information on where I am and while she couldn't help me on that regard as she is also new here
I could use someone who I can tolerate to help me and provide me with some form of protection should I need it.

once back in front of our rooms saf pauses for a second then turn to look at me as I was opening my door

I shake my head at her entering my own room before closing the door

I got to the door of to the side leading to the bathroom
there wasn't a light switch, but a soft glowing orb affixed to the wall with a nob that twist to make the orb glow brighter or dimmer
I of course turn it all the way up
than turn to look in a glass plane resembling a mirror....
it was then that I got my first real good look at my appearance.....
.... dark purplish long glossy hair that had streaks or highlights of silver
my eyes looked mesmerizing
while they where predominantly a dark purple,they seemed to have their own glow as in the center I can just make out diffent colored light points that moved like a galaxy around my pupils
I was short but in the mirror I can see all the curves a male shouldnt have

slim waist
slender arms
a flat stomach
and a face that almost looked other worldly
the long ears only added to the overall beauty not taking anything away

I try to fight it off for a bit as I need to focus
I open my eyes and stare fixedly at the ceiling ....
....today was a mess...
it could have been worst.....

but it also wouldn't win any awards for best 1st day in isekai from my previous life

and defense to be able to take more hits without it phasing me, or hurting as much
I don't know to what degree the it will enhance me I guess I'll have to find out myself
going over my choices again i can't help but feel a bit apprehensive
