Cherreads

Chapter 6 - The Piano Prince, A Woman Made of Water

"I'm really treating you, do you think I'm the kind of person who doesn't cherish a delicate woman?"

Jack's face became serious as he said this.

"Really?"

Emily Carter widened her eyes, trying to see if Jack was lying. She stared at him for a long time but couldn't figure it out.

"Alright, I believe you."

Emily finally gave in.

"That's more like it."

Jack smiled and gently removed the towel, beginning to massage her.

After a moment, Jack stopped.

"How does it feel? Does it still hurt?"

Jack asked softly.

"Hmm, it doesn't hurt anymore! How did you do that?"

Emily was pleasantly surprised and immediately asked.

"I know a little about medicine. What I just did was acupressure."

Jack smiled as he looked at Emily, who seemed as curious as a child.

"Is acupressure really that magical?" Emily asked.

"You just experienced it."

Jack smiled and flicked Emily's nose playfully before continuing,

"We'll go out for dinner soon."

"I need to take a shower first, I feel so sticky."

Emily said before running off to the bathroom.

Jack stood up and headed to the bathroom next door.

When Jack came out, he noticed Emily hadn't finished yet.

He opened the virtual panel and saw seven "spending points."

"System, seven consecutive draws."

"Congratulations, host, you've won 10 billion."

"Congratulations, host, you've won 10 billion."

"Congratulations, host, you've won 10 billion."

After three consecutive wins of 10 billion, Jack felt a bit annoyed—he didn't need money, he needed other things.

"Congratulations, host, you've won one building, the Tianding Tower."

It seemed the system had sensed Jack's thoughts and gave him something different.

"Congratulations, host, you've gained the skill: Piano Master."

"Congratulations, host, you've gained the skill: Singing Master."

"Congratulations, host, you've received a 10x cashback card, valid for 24 hours once activated."

Seeing the rewards, Jack sighed. He wasn't too impressed, though the 10x cashback card sounded interesting.

"System, does the 10x cashback card apply to spending points as well?"

Jack asked in his mind, wondering if spending points could also get a 10x return.

"Host, you're thinking too much. It only applies to money."

The system answered coldly.

At this moment, Emily came out of the shower, her perfect figure making Jack almost lose control.

Emily quickly dressed, walked over to Jack, gave him a fleeting kiss on the cheek, and then dashed down the stairs.

Jack smiled helplessly—he had just been teased. He stood up and walked downstairs.

"You know this area well, where do you think we should eat?"

Jack handed the car keys to Emily and sat in the passenger seat.

"I know a great themed restaurant, let's go there. Some colleagues who've been there said the environment is nice and the food is good."

Emily said excitedly as she held the keys. She hadn't driven such a car before—sometimes, women like sports cars just as much as men.

"Alright, I'll follow your lead."

Jack smiled at Emily.

Emily pressed the button, and the engine roared to life.

"Vroom, vroom," the sound was deafening, making Emily even more excited as she gripped the steering wheel.

She stepped on the accelerator, and the car shot forward. Thankfully, the roads here were wide and there were no pedestrians. Emily got used to the speed and began accelerating.

Finally, they arrived at the restaurant. Jack had been on the edge of his seat the entire time, almost terrified by Emily's driving, but he was relieved to have made it safely. He hadn't expected Emily to have such a wild side, and he decided he'd have to talk to her about it.

They walked into the restaurant, and the waiter led them to a vacant table. They ordered some of the restaurant's signature dishes.

In the center of the restaurant was a grand piano, and a young girl in a white dress was playing. The melody was soft, giving the entire restaurant a peaceful atmosphere.

The food arrived quickly after their order, and Jack picked up a piece of pig intestine with his chopsticks.

"This dish is delicious, try it."

Jack offered it to Emily.

Emily looked at the pig intestine in her bowl with disgust, quickly picking it up and putting it into Jack's bowl.

"I don't eat this kind of thing, it just grosses me out."

Emily said, covering her mouth as if afraid she might throw up.

Jack didn't insist and ate it himself.

As dinner came to an end, Jack saw that the girl playing the piano had stopped. He suddenly remembered that he was a piano master and decided to give it a try himself.

He wiped his hands and turned to Emily.

"Wait for me."

He stood up and walked toward the piano in the center.

"Miss, hello, I'd like to play a song for my girlfriend. May I?"

Jack asked politely, pointing to Emily.

Emily was shocked as she watched Jack approach the piano. Could it be that Jack knew how to play the piano?

The girl who had been playing looked at Jack's handsome face, mesmerized.

Jack waved his hand to get her attention.

The girl snapped out of her daze, quickly standing up with a blush on her face.

"Please go ahead."

"Thank you."

Jack sat at the piano bench.

Emily covered her mouth in surprise as she saw Jack preparing to play.

Jack gently tested the keys.

"This next piece is for my girlfriend Emily. I hope she will always be happy, always be blessed."

He said as he began to play, his fingers moving skillfully across the keys, producing clear, bright notes.

The girl in the white dress nearby was stunned. This was so beautiful. The teachers they had could never compare to this man's level. What kind of master was he? She thought.

She gently covered her mouth, not daring to make a sound, fearing she would interrupt the wonderful music.

The whole restaurant fell silent, only the music and Jack's husky voice echoed through the air, so beautiful that it resonated with everyone's hearts.

Emily, hearing Jack sing for her, was deeply moved.

When she heard Jack's raspy voice and the beautiful lyrics, tears filled her eyes. They were tears of happiness, tears of romance.

When Jack finished the last note, he stood up and thanked the girl in white, then walked back to his seat.

Seeing Emily, who was now crying like a storm of falling petals, he gently wiped her tears with a napkin.

Emily jumped into Jack's arms,

"You're a bad person, you made me so emotional that I almost died from it. Now I look like a mess."

Emily said, crying pitifully in Jack's embrace.

Jack gently patted her back, comforting her.
