Chapter 12 - Packing Bracelets, Another Goal Achieved

The clerk handed the receipt and the card back to Jack.

Jack casually said,"Send everything to Sky One Villa."

With his arm wrapped around Emily's slender waist, Jack strolled out. After buying clothes, they headed straight to the boutique that sold women's handbags. Without even looking, Jack bought out the entire store and swiped his card.

As the transaction completed, the system's voice echoed in his mind.

"Congratulations, Host! You've splurged 15 million dollars. Full cashback received: 15 million dollars. Obtained: 0.0 Spend Points.""Congratulations! You've activated the Tenfold Cashback Card. Bonus cashback: 150 million dollars."

Seeing another 150 million added to his balance, Jack couldn't help but smile.Another small goal, completed.

Emily beamed as she picked out a handbag and slung it over her shoulder, clearly thrilled. Still holding onto Jack's arm, she chatted happily as they walked into a high-end jade store.

A jade bracelet in a vibrant emerald green color caught Emily's eye, and she instantly liked it. Just as Jack was about to ask the clerk to take it out, a voice rang out from behind them.

"Emily?"

Emily turned around and frowned slightly. The speaker was none other than Kimberly James, a college classmate she had always disliked. Kimberly had competed with her in everything back then, and clearly nothing had changed. Even now, Emily felt the same irritation.

"Kimberly?""Well, look at you! I almost didn't recognize you!"

Kimberly greeted her with an obviously fake smile that made Emily's stomach turn.

"Mm."Emily responded curtly and turned back to look at the bracelet.

"Babe, didn't you promise me a bracelet worth twenty thousand dollars?"

Kimberly deliberately emphasized the price, clinging sweetly to the arm of an older man.

"Of course, sweetheart. Anything you like under twenty grand—pick it out and we'll pay right away."The old man glanced at Kimberly and then gave Emily a once-over, thumping his chest like a peacock.

"Emily, when it comes to choosing a man, you have to find someone financially capable. Otherwise, you'll just end up window-shopping."

Kimberly snickered while scanning the jewelry.

Emily felt sick just looking at her. Dating this wrinkled old man and acting like she'd won the lottery? Disgusting. Then she looked at the man beside her—handsome, confident, and filthy rich. The thought made her heart flutter. She glanced at Jack with a smile in her eyes.

"Honey, what about this one?"Kimberly lifted a bracelet priced at 21,000 dollars and showed it to her sugar daddy.

The man frowned slightly—spending that much stung a little. But he figured if Kimberly tried something new in bed tonight… maybe that thing she refused last time... hehe.He leaned in and whispered something into Kimberly's ear that made her cheeks flush.

Kimberly hesitated, then gave a coy nod. The old man's eyes lit up, already fantasizing about the night ahead.

"Clerk! Bring that bracelet over and let my baby try it on!"

He raised his voice dramatically, making sure everyone in the store knew he was the big spender.

The clerk quickly complied, placing the bracelet on the counter.

Kimberly slid it on and turned to her sugar daddy,"Honey, how does it look?"

"You look gorgeous in anything, my baby."

"I want this one," she cooed, swaying her hips.

"Of course, of course."He playfully lifted her chin with one finger."Clerk, we'll take it. Swipe the card—no PIN needed."

He handed over his card, shooting a smug glance at Emily, hoping she'd be impressed. She didn't even glance at him.

"Sir, here's your card and receipt."The clerk returned with a polite smile.

"Emily," Kimberly said as she waved her wrist in front of her face, "Now do you understand how important it is to find a man with real financial power?"

Jack finally had enough. These two clowns just wouldn't stop showing off like a couple of buzzing flies.

He pulled out his card and handed it to the clerk.

"Wrap up all the bracelets priced above fifty thousand dollars. Every single one."

"S-Sir… are you sure?"The clerk was visibly nervous, thinking it might be a joke.

"I'm sure. Just the ones above fifty thousand. Nothing below that."

Jack looked at her seriously. He couldn't stand anyone trying to outdo him.

The old man and Kimberly were both stunned.

Kimberly quickly assumed he was bluffing, just trying to scare them off. She lifted her chin arrogantly.

"Emily, don't waste your youth on some guy pretending to be rich. A man who can't even buy a bracelet? Total waste of time."

Emily looked at Kimberly like she was an idiot. Did she really just say Jack has no money? This woman clearly had no idea what real wealth looked like.

Jack's spending habits—buying out entire stores without blinking—still made Emily's heart skip a beat. He was the very definition of extravagance.

Kimberly, misreading Emily's silence, thought she had won. Her smug smile grew wider.

Beep.

Transaction approved. The receipt printed out with a satisfying whirl.

The system chimed again in Jack's mind.

"Congratulations, Host! You've spent 45 million dollars. Full cashback received: 45 million dollars. Obtained: 0.0 Spend Points.""Congratulations! You've activated the Tenfold Cashback Card. Bonus cashback: 450 million dollars."

Jack was now 450 million dollars richer. That's four more small goals, just like that.Though he couldn't help but mutter internally—Damn system never gives Spend Points. Total scam artist.

The clerk came over, her hands trembling as she carefully handed back the card and receipt.

"Sir, your total is 45 million dollars. Here's your card and receipt."

Her heart was still racing. This man wasn't rich—he was insanely rich.

The old man and Kimberly were completely stunned. Their brains couldn't even process what had just happened.Forty-five million... that wasn't just a power move—it was a financial nuke. Kimberly's little moment of glory had just been vaporized.

Jack nodded at the clerk and turned to Emily.

"Pick one you like and wear it."

Emily didn't hold back. She picked a favorite, slipped it on, and when Jack wasn't paying attention, planted a kiss on his cheek.

Jack chuckled, slightly embarrassed—even his thick skin wasn't enough to ignore the stares around them.

"Have these sent directly to Sky One Villa," he instructed the clerk.

And with that, Jack wrapped his arm around Emily's waist and strolled out of the mall, calm and casual as ever.
