The SHIELD meeting room was filled with a sense of urgency as 15 agents gathered around the table, debriefing about the aftermath of the Harlem incident in New York. The tension in the air was palpable as Agent Jackson began his report.
"Sir, the aftermath has been resolved. 0 civilian deaths, and the civilian who have been hospitalized given a substantial amount of compensation."
Nick Fury, Director of SHIELD, nodded, his expression stern as he sifted through the documents in front of him. "Is that all?" he asked, his voice firm.
One of the agents, Agent Thompson, hesitated before speaking up. "Sir, we... we saw someone... a man... floating... watching the fight."
Nick Fury's eyes narrowed, his interest piqued. "Continue," he said, his voice low and commanding.
Agent Thompson took a deep breath before continuing. "When we saw him staring at us, we felt an unforgettable fear. It was as if we were staring into the void, and we all felt the same way. We couldn't recognize him, but we saw shadows... full of shadows. And all CCTV footage has been detected as broken, even when we used other cameras. We could only see a black humanoid shadow floating."
The room fell silent, the agents exchanging uneasy glances. Nick Fury's expression turned thoughtful, his mind racing with possibilities.
"And what about the Hulk?" he asked, his voice firm.
Agent Thompson hesitated before speaking up. "Sir, we saw the Hulk stare at... that thing... and... and leave."
Nick Fury's eyes narrowed, his expression serious. "Dismissed," he said, his voice firm.
As the agents filed out of the meeting room, Nick Fury remained seated, lost in thought. He knew that there were secrets beyond the public eye, secrets that SHIELD had uncovered over the years. Werewolves, vampires, and aliens were just a few of the many supernatural entities that lurked in the shadows.
In a low, serious tone, he whispered to himself, "A shadow humanoid." He picked up the phone and dialed a number, his eyes fixed on the wall as he waited for the person to answer.
"Maria Hill, I need you to continue this investigation. I want to know everything about this shadow humanoid. Get me answers."
The line went silent, and Nick Fury hung up the phone, his expression still thoughtful. He knew that this was just the beginning of a much larger mystery, one that would require all of SHIELD's resources to uncover.
