the atmosphere filled with the usual chatter of students heading home. Jonathan and Joshua was walking towards the school gate The warm breeze tousled their hair as they walked, talking casually about the bike riding they have planned earlier.
Suddenly, Jonathan's attention was snapped back to the present when a shrill voice pierced the air—a scream so loud and high-pitched it almost sounded like a pig being slaughtered.
"Jonathan! Jonathan!" The voice grew louder.
Startled, Jonathan turned on instinct. His eyes widened as he saw a figure charging toward them at an alarming speed. It was Kelvin running toward them like a freight train on a collision course. His face was flushed red, and his movements were as frantic as a bull charging through a narrow alley.
Joshua, walking next to Jonathan, gave a resigned sigh. He was never a fan of Kelvin, and his dislike was evident in the way he frowned as the large figure approached. "that lump of mass is going to give me a headache," he muttered under his breath, crossing his arms in distaste.
Jonathan, however, wasn't as dismissive. He stopped walking, a hint of curiosity and concern on his face as he waited for Kelvin to catch up.
Joshua shot Jonathan an exasperated look. "What are you doing, Jonathan? Let's just go. Leave the pig in peace."
Jonathan chuckled softly at the comparison but remained where he was, clearly not about to walk away. He knew Kelvin, despite his size and the endless teasing he received, was someone who could use a friend, especially when the world often looked at him with disdain.
Kelvin was breathing heavily as he finally reached them, sweat dripping from his forehead and his chest heaving with the effort. Jonathan noticed a few things immediately—Kelvin had a swollen bump on his head, a bright red cheek that looked like it had been slapped, and a cut on his lip that was still oozing blood, staining his chin.
"What happened, Kelvin?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
Kelvin managed to force a pained smile, though it looked more like a grimace. "Don't worry, I'm used to it," he said, his voice strained as he wiped away the blood from his lip with the back of his hand.
Jonathan's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing as he pieced together the situation. He was already dreading the answer, but he needed to hear it. "It's Gabriel, isn't it?" he asked, his voice tinged with both anger and disbelief.
Kelvin gave a slow nod, confirming Jonathan's suspicions. "Yeah... Gabriel and his friends decided to have some 'fun' again."
Jonathan's fists clenched involuntarily, his blood boiling at the thought of Gabriel. picking on someone like Kelvin. He hated bullies with a passion, and seeing Kelvin like didn't feel good, though the relationship between them wasn't that deep, but they could still call each other friends, even if it wasn't always spoken—beaten Kelvin
down once again only made his blood run cold with fury. He have once saved Kelvin from Gabriel and his gang and that's how Kelvin came to like him and always want to be around him.
"That's it," Jonathan muttered under his breath, taking a step back, already turning to head back toward the school building. "I'm going to find Gabriel."
Joshua's voice stopped him in his tracks "What do you think you're doing?"
Jonathan turned around, meeting Joshua's gaze with a look of determination. "I'm going to settle this once and for all," he said firmly, his jaw set with resolve. "This ends today."
Joshua's face hardened, and for a moment, his eyes narrowed as he assessed the situation. "And what do you think you're going to do? You honestly believe charging in there with fists swinging is going to solve anything?"
Jonathan wasn't the type to lose his calm, but this issue with Kelvin is getting out of control.
Jonathan hesitated. He didn't need to think too long to know that Joshua was right. He was angry, furious even, but charging headfirst into trouble would only make things worse.
He exhaled sharply, forcing himself to calm down. But something needs to be done about Gabriel. This has gone on long enough."
Kelvin, still standing awkwardly to the side, shifted uncomfortably. "Guys... please... I don't want you to get into trouble on my account," just forget about it..he said with a smile.
Jonathan turned to him, his expression softening. "Don't say that, Kelvin. No one should have to 'deal with' this kind of thing.
Joshua sighed, rubbing the back of his neck in frustration. This fatty never size to cause trouble for them.

Sophia was walking with quick steps,
She made her way toward the black car with her driver inside who usually bring her to school and pick her up after school. her beautiful face wasn't looking good at all...Lisa and Angela was following her from behind as they kept on blaming each other for the earlier incident.
She arrived in front of the sleek black car that was waiting to take her home. The familiar vehicle was a constant presence in her routine, a reminder of her privilege, but today, she wasn't interested in any of it. She just wanted to escape the noise and retreat into the calm of her own space.
As she approached the car, however, her path was suddenly blocked by a figure standing directly in front of her. She stopped short, irritation flickering through her eyes as she looked up. Her eyes immediately met Gabriel's. a wave of frustration swept over her, and she took a deep breath to steady herself.
"What is it, Gabriel?" she asked, her tone already laced with annoyance. She had no time for whatever game he was playing today.
Gabriel flashed a playful grin, clearly unfazed by the coldness in her voice. "Come on, Sophia," he said, his voice light and teasing. "My heart really hurts whenever I see you frown that beautiful face of yours."
Sophia's eyes narrowed, her anger sparking to life. His words were always coated with that irritating mix of flirtation but today, it only fueled the irritation that had been simmering beneath the surface.
Her shoulders tensed, and though she could feel the heat of her rising anger, she fought to keep her composure. Gabriel's antics were nothing new, but today, she wasn't in the mood for his usual tricks. She had been looking forward to going home and now, he was standing in her way, as if her life wasn't complicated enough.
"I said, what do you want?" she asked again, her voice more demanding this time, her patience running was running out .
Gabriel didn't budge. Instead, he took a step closer, his grin widening. "Just give me a hug, baby, and I'll let you go," he said with exaggerated sweetness, his hand reaching out toward her. He moved to brush aside a lock of hair that had fallen across her face, as though it were the most casual of gestures.
her clenched her fingers into a fists. She was pissed.
The sight of Lisa Angela standing just behind her, made the situation even worse. Lisa, unable to control herself, was barely holding back her laughter.
Pfffu....
her shoulders shaking with suppressed giggles. The noise of her barely contained amusement was like a spark to the fire of Sophia's fury.
Angela, standing next to Lisa, gave her a sharp, glare. Her eyes seemed to say everything without a word: We are already in trouble, and you want to add to it?
Sophia's control finally snapped. The tight hold she had onto broke free, and without thinking, she roared in fury. "Get lost!!"
Her voice echoed in the courtyard, causing several students nearby to glance over in surprise. Gabriel, who had clearly expected a more playful response, was momentarily stunned. His eyes widened in surprise at the intensity of her outburst.
Without another word, Sophia pushed past him with a force that surprised even herself. She brushed him off with a sharp motion, barely sparing him another glance. She strode toward the car, feeling the adrenaline of her anger pumping through her veins.
As she reached the door, she threw it open and slammed it shut behind her with a finality that left no room for argument. The sound reverberated through the air.
The driver finally stepped on the gas pedal, The engine hummed to life, and the car lurched forward, pulling away from the school grounds. The roar of the tires on the asphalt seemed to drown out everything else, and Sophia leaned back against the seat, staring out the window.
