Maxim smirked and stepped forward again, getting close to me. He raised his hand and held a lock of my hair. He twirled it around his finger while staring at it before locking eyes with me.
"I am a man that doesn't believe in love and settling down but the day I'll find my mate; you'll mean nothing to me. So, don't start building fantasies in your head."
