What do you think of situations where you just hear part of a conversation which feels so disturbing you wished you heard from the beginning to understand or you didn't hear it at all. This how how Jae Won felt.
As he entered the living room the words he heard from their conversation was 'a new girlfriend' and the rest was spoke in Twi. Though he is really learning the language in a fast pace but that conversation was deep for him to make sense out of it so the only sense he could make out of it was the new girlfriend part as they were code-mixing while speaking.
Jae Won's words broke their little scuffle making their attention shifted to the other voice. "What!!! A new girlfriend?" Jae Won said as both Vincent and Akwasi turned simultaneously to look at the voice as if they were taking a look at where a breaking bone sound was coming from as in a horror movie.
Akwasi turned to look only to be met with the handsome yet beautiful Korean man standing at the other side of the living room with his face as confused as a dog who is been given a sugar cane to eat as dinner.
Akwasi couldn't take his eyes off Jae Won and unconsciously he walked slowly towards Jae Won. He observed the beautiful crafted man by the almighty. Akwasi raised his eyebrows as he observed Jae Won like an artifact displayed in a museum.
Akwasi slowly walked around Jae Won, his strong features, his sense of style and his demeanor all combined to make him utterly captivating "wow, no wonder you ditched me for this goddes" he said as he turned back to face Vincent whose eyes is declaring war "he is not a woman" Vincent quickly replied. " yeah I know, but damn he is beautiful" Akwasi said pissing off Vincent.
This time Akwasi spoke in English "so handsome even more than you. If you happen to take him along to school next semester, I bet all the girls crushing on you will definitely not think twice choosing him over you" he said mockingly pissing Vincent.
"So how do you meet this handsome fellow?" Akwasi asked as he put his arm around Jae Won's neck and pushing him along while he went to sat on the couch smiling like he own the whole world looking at Jae Won.
On the other hand too, this is really helping Jae Won because he thought of how he was going to befriend Akwasi and not look weird but is like the heavens was on his side. He voluntarily approached him and smiling brightly at him as if they had known each other for a while.
Actually, Vincent talked about Jae Won to Akwasi so he already had fair knowledge of Jae Won'a presence but didn't anticipate he would be this handsome. "Did you have a girlfriend?" Akwasi asked as he turned to look at Jae Won. Jae Won coughed and looked at Vincent hoping he could save him now.
"It's okay, no need for any interrogations. Go wash up" Vincent said as he understood the look Jae Won gave him. The look of please save right now. "Okay okay, I give up. You don't want me to admire your now best friend. I get it now I'm gonna go wash up" Akwasi said as he stood up from the couch and walked directly to the stairs "oh I feel so sticky" he said as Vincent and Jae Won watched his departed figure.
They both turned to look at each other at the same time like they were both set by a remote. Jae Won looked at Vincent with worry drawn on his face. He was so happy Akwasi would be coming over but didn't actually thought of how he will feel or act if he gets to know he likes men.
How is he supposed to ask questions concerning Vincent and not make it weird or suspicious. What if he accepts the fact he likes men and Jae Won Keeps asking questions about Vincent, won't his little secret be out in the open air. He sighed as his mind wondered around.
Vincent on the other hand, saw Jae Won looking worried. He just thought maybe he is like this because his crush is near him now and may not like the fact that he is into men. He may actually feel disgusted by him.
Honestly, Vincent had no idea how Akwasi would react if he gets to know Jae Won's little secret. He doesn't know how he thinks about or feels about them. He got a little worried for Jae Won as how he is going to feel if the person he likes hates him. Vincent heart ached a little as he felt the pain Jae Won might go through. "I'm gonna be there for you" Vincent said it out loud without realizing.
"Huh" Jae Won asked as his thought too took control over him. "Would you tell him you are into men?" Vincent asked hoping Jae Won might not do as he had just asked. "Hell no, not in this lifetime" Jae Won replied making Jae Won sighed a huge relief.
Vincent was happy but not sure what's making him happy. Is he happy because he shares a secret with Jae Won or is he happy because Akwasi might not get him as a boyfriend. "But how are you….." he paused 'gonna have him as boyfriend' he ended his question in his head.
"But don't you like him?" Vincent asked as he was curious to know how he might win Akwasi over and will not have to tell him his secret. 'Maybe this is a good sign' he thought.
"Yes, I like him but it doesn't matter in my plans" Jae Won said as he has no idea about the kind of like Vincent was talking about. They talked for a while and slept off on the couch watching television.
Meanwhile Akwasi was in his room doing God knows what. Let's go find out. Thirty minutes after he left to go shower. He entered the room the servant had shown him as his room. "This boy didn't even help me with my bag" he said as he put down his bad and the servant too and settle in.
Akwasi undressed leaving his underwear to hit the shower when he received a text. He and the unknown person texted for a while making him forgot he felt sticky a few minutes ago.
Ever since he left Vincent mansion the other day, he accidentally called someone when he tried calling his driver who had changed his contact to a new one. This person he accidentally called happened to be a woman with a beautiful voice.
Akwasi asked for forgiveness and hang up the call before he called the right number. But he couldn't forget the voice that sound melodious on the phone as he kept thinking about the voice every second, he even wondered how she might sound when starts to sing.
He was no longer able to hold himself back as he called the number again and then that was the beginning of these two. They've been taking for a few weeks now and haven't actually met because the girl lives in Kumasi, a different city.
This was the reason why he got stuck in his room forgetting the two masters at the living room. He quickly went to wash up after
the girl asked for permission to continue her work. This made Akwasi realized he had people in the house.
He dressed up and went downstairs only to see Vincent staring at Jae Won and pinching his cheeks. 'What am I seeing?' He thought as he walked slowly towards the man who was lost in space. "Ouuch" was the sound of Vincent being smacked on the head by Vincent.
"What the hell are you doing?" Akwasi asked leaving Vincent dumbfounded with him unable to even make up an excuse for what he was doing. "I'm ju.. I'm just checking if he really is asleep" he finally made an excuse which doesn't make sense.
Akwasi brushed it off as he didn't see any weirdness towards what Vincent had done. He sometimes do that to his little bro when he is asleep. "What were you up to in your room. You kept long there?" Vincent asked shifting his attention from himself back to Akwasi.
Akwasi walked closer to the couch and sat down "nothing, I was just talking to someone" he said with smiles that reached his eyes. Vincent knew this look. The look of falling in love with someone.
"Don't tell me you already had a girlfriend just these past few weeks?" Vincent asked as he felt a little excited without knowing the reason.
"She is not yet my girlfriend but I'm hoping she could be" Akwasi replied him still smiling brightly. "So tell me, how did you meet your handsome Korean?" Akwasi asked prepared to listen.
"It's a long story" Vincent replied already smiling on how they met flashed in his mind.
"Oh don't worry, I have time and a whole day. So I'm all ears" Akwasi said with his outmost attention ready to listen to a story out of this world.
