In the middle of the dark night, Seira met two people in the middle of a very quiet forest.
The two people she met included a middle-aged woman and a man who was fully dressed as a guard.
"There's something I want to talk to you about, Maria. It's about Darco, he made quite a big deal and I think it will affect the future of the Imperial," Seira said.
"A problem? What kind of trouble are you talking about?"
Seira explained what had happened to Harvey and why Harvey could get such a harsh punishment from Darco or the Crown Prince. Maria and the man she was with were quite surprised when they heard that and had the same concerns as Seira.
How could someone like Darco lead the Imperial in the future?
Would he eliminate everyone who went against him?
"That's really outrageous! He's crossed the line by giving out punishments that really shouldn't be accepted. What they did was a favor to the Imperial people. But he doesn't like it!" the man said with anger from the way he spoke.
He even wanted to kill Darco on the spot, but Maria calmed him down.
"Calm down Christoph, I know you're angry. But we can't just go out there and wreak havoc. We are still outnumbered and outgunned. There's nothing we can do for now," Maria said as she rubbed his arm.
"You're right, we'll just make our plans fail."
Maria then turned back to Seira, handing her a small container of cream. "This is a pain relief cream. This cream has been specially made, so you don't need to use medicinal leaves anymore to treat it."
The red-haired woman accepted the cream, as she had asked for it this afternoon when she sent the message to them.
She knew that just ordinary cream and medicinal leaves would not heal Harvey's wound quickly. Moreover, the wound had already become infected, so Seira needed a much better medicine than before.
And she knew that Maria was the right person to bring that medicine to her.
"Listen to me, I know you're desperate to find the answers you've been looking for. I know what they're doing is going too far, too far. But we still have to look at the situation and gather strength to fight them. What we are fighting is not an ordinary person but a member of the Imperial," Maria explained.
Seira nodded in understanding, then she put on the hood of her cloak again to quickly leave there. She couldn't leave the mansion for too long or Leonard and Albert would be suspicious of her leaving.
Before leaving, she hugged Maria. "Thank you, you've always been there for me."
"I did my duty and repaid what your mother did for me all these years."
She then turned to leave them and returned to the mansion. Through the back door, she immediately took off her robe and placed it in her room.
Acting as if nothing had happened.
She then went to Harvey's room, and saw Leonard and Albert who were still in the living room. They seemed to have fallen asleep there and Seira thought not to wake them up.
In his room, Seira saw Harvey who was shivering.
"His face is still very pale, he's also covered in his own sweat as well. I'd better change his clothes while applying the cream Maria gave me," she muttered. Then she quickly got other clothes to replace Harvey's wet clothes.
She slowly removed the bandage covering the wound, and saw that the wound was still quite wet and red. Even the area around the wound also looked quite swollen which made Seira have to be more careful when applying cream to the wound.
She hoped that the wound on Harvey's body would recover soon after she applied this cream. He slowly picked up a small stick and dabbed the man's wound with it.
"Ukhh..." He whimpered, feeling the cream on his wound.
"Hold on a moment, Lord Harvey. I'm adding new wound medicine so that your wound will heal faster," she said, trying to do it slowly so that it wouldn't hurt.
She also wanted to blow on it lightly, so it wouldn't hurt so much.
Harvey could feel the blow from Seira's mouth on his back. The pain was slowly fading, but it was still there. His head was still hurting from the fever he had gotten.
"It must have hurt a lot, huh?"
He only replied with a nod of his head, then closed his eyes again with a gasp.
After treating the wound, Seira put his clothes back on and wiped the sweat from his forehead. She sat on the floor, right next to his bed.
With a small towel, she wiped off his sweat.
"Go back to rest, Lord Harvey. I'll be waiting at the door if you need anything."
As Seira stood up from her spot, intending to leave her room. Harvey caught a small part of her dress. With a weak tug, he restrained Seira from leaving.
"Lord Harvey? Do you need anything?" he asked.
"Stay here. I don't have... Haa... The energy to call you.... In a loud voice," he replied quietly.
Hearing that, Seira could understand because it would definitely take more energy to make a voice loud enough to be heard by her.
She went back to sitting on the floor, right next to him. Watching how Harvey tried to go back to sleep. But she could hear that he continued to be delirious from the pain he was feeling.
Without realizing it, Seira rubbed Harvey's head. As if trying to comfort him back to sleep. Slowly Harvey did start to breathe slowly and his body became a little more relaxed. But he was still delirious about some things that Seira didn't understand.
'I think there's one thing I might be able to do to make him calmer again,' the woman thought.
Seira was a bit hesitant to do so, but she thought it might not hurt to do just that. She wasn't used to doing this to other people, but she just couldn't let Harvey go on like this.
"Where the children go to play... They play in the forest..." Slowly she began to sing the lullaby that she used to sing to him.
"What are they looking for? A little flower, a little flower... A pretty flower, a pretty flower..."
Hearing that lullaby coupled with such a calm melody, Harvey felt even calmer and he slowly stopped delirious.
"The sun is setting, where did the children go? They went home... Back to their mother's arms..."
She looked at Harvey who had fallen asleep with slow but regular breathing.
"His face was so innocent when he fell asleep. Whereas usually he always seems to be staring seriously," she muttered.
Just as Seira was thinking of standing up, she realized that the man was currently holding her hand. Even when he was asleep, Harvey could still hold it quite tightly.
Seeing this, Seira couldn't do anything but breathe softly and stay by his side waiting for him to wake up the next day.
"Sleep well, tomorrow will definitely be more tiring as long as Darco is alive."
