Donald was at the park, joggling a football around like it was his best buddy. He loved playing football soo much. It was sunny, and the sky was blue. It was a perfect day for a game. Donald was very happy because he will have a match later with his friends.
"C'mon, Don! You're gonna miss the goal!" his best friend Mike shouted. Mike always joke around. He dribbled Donald and shot. The ball flew past the goalpost and hit a tree.
"Good one, Mike!" Donald laughed, shaking his head. "You gotta try better!"
"Hey, I'm practicing my tree-hitting skills!" Mike replied, grinning. "You know, just in case we may play against trees!"
Donald chuckled. "Yeah, right! Trees are hard opponents!" He pass the ball to Mike, who was pretending to be a coach now.
"Alright, team! Let's show everyone how it's done!" Mike said, raising his arms like he was leading a pep rally.
Just then, Bella was passing by with her friend Sarah. They were laughing and gisting, They were having the best time. Bella had long, shiny hair and a bright smile that could light up the whole park. Donald keep on staring at her unstoppable. She looked so cool and confident.
"Dude, focus!" Mike throw the ball at his face, breaking Donald's daydream. "You're staring like a total weirdo!"
"Shut up!" Donald replied, but he couldn't stop stearing at Bella. Their eyes met for a moment, and his heart started beating too fast. It felt like the whole world stopped.
"Hey! You wanna join us?" Mike shouted, waving his arms like a maniac.
Bella blushed and looked at Sarah. "Should we?"
"Why not? I could use a good laugh!" Sarah replied, grinning.
Bella walked over, and Donald felt his stomach flip. "I'm Bella," she said, her smile making Donald's heart skip a beat.
"I'm Donald," he said, trying to sound cool but probably failing. "And that's Mike, the guy who can't kick a ball to save his life."
"Hey!" Mike protested, pretending to be offended.
"So, you play football?" Bella asked, looking genuinely interested.
"Yeah! I play whenever I can. Wanna see?" Donald asked, feeling excited and nerves.
"Sure! Show me what you have!" Bella challenged, her eyes sparkling with fun.
"Alright, but don't be surprised if I score a many goals!" he joked, trying to sound bold but feeling a little shy.
Donald got the ball and started dribbling, showing off some nice skils. He pretended to be a pro, weaving in and out like he was in a real game. Bella laughed, and it made him feel like he was on top of the world.
"Okay, okay! Let's see you score!" Bella called out, clapping her hands.
Donald took a deep breath and shot. The ball flew... and missed! It hit a nearby tree instead.
"Nice aim!" Mike laughed, doubling over.
"Shut up!" Donald said, his face turning red. But Bella just giggled, and her laughter made everything feel better.
"Maybe you should train a little more," she teased, giving him a playful nudge.
"Yeah, I'll train... right after I figure out how to impress you!" he shot back, trying to play it cool.
Bella giggled again, and Donald smile. They kept playing, and Donald was having way more fun than he'd expected. Bella's laughter was like music, and he loved every second they spent together.
After some minutes of playing, they took a break and sat on the grass. "So, how long have you been playing football?" Bella asked, looking at Donald with curiosity.
"Since I was a kid! My dad taught me. He used to play too," Donald answered, feeling proud. "What about you? Do you play any sports?"
"I've never played football, but I love watching it. My dad takes me to watch match sometimes," Bella said, her eyes lighting up. "It's so exciting!"
"Maybe I can teach you one day," Donald suggested, feeling bold. "You will be my secret weapon!"
"Ha! I'd love that! Just don't get mad if I trip over the ball!" she laughed.
"Deal! I'll make sure to catch you if you fall," Donald replied, grinning.
As they keep on gisting and laughing loud, Donald felt like they were friends already. It was easy to laugh and joke with her. They shared stories about school, friends, games and their favorite movies. Donald learned that Bella loved comedies, while he was into action flicks.
"Is like you like those superhero movies?" Bella said, rolling her eyes playfully. "You know, all the bombing and stuff."
"Okay, guilty as charged! But they're awesome!" he defended, pretending to be serious.
"Whatever you say, superhero!" Bella teased, making him laugh.
After a while, Mike interrupted, "Hey, Romeo and Juliet! Are we gonna play or what?"
"Shut up, Mike!" Donald shot back, laughing.
"Yeah, we're just getting to know each other, nothing else!" Bella added, sticking her tongue out at Mike.
"Nice, Nice!, i understand but Just don't forget to invite me to the wedding!, i will be the best man" Mike joked, making them both laugh.
They played a few more rounds but this time, Donald put the ball in the back of the net and it was a goal! "Yes! Finally!" he shouted and backflit.
"See? I knew you can do more than this!" Bella cheered, clapping for him.
Feeling bold, Donald said, "Okay, now it's your turn to try! Let's see if you can score!"
"Me? I'll probably just kick it into the bushes!" Bella smilled, but she stepped up anyway.
She took the ball and shot a little. Donald watched closely, ready to cheer her on. Bella aimed and kicked... and the ball went flying straight into the bushes!
"fu*k!" Bella laughed, covering her face in embarrassment.
"Don't worry! It happens to us sometimes!" Donald said, trying to be encouraging. "I'll get it!" He ran to grab the ball, feeling happy to help her.
As he walked back, he couldn't help but smile. Bella was so fun and easy to be around. He thought maybe, just maybe, they may be more than friends.
After training, the sun begins to set. The sky turned orange and pink, and it looked beautiful. Bella looked at the sky and said, "Wow, it's so pretty! We will come here more often."
"Exactly!" Donald agreed. "I'll always be here, practicing my super skills!" He turned his arms like a superhero, making Bella smiled again.
"Super skills, huh? More like super misses!" she teased back.
"Hey! I'm getting better!" he protested, grinning.
As they packed their training kits to leave, Donald felt a little sad. He didn't want the day to end. "So, can I get your digit? So we can plan our next football tutorial?" he asked, trying to sound casual.
"Sure! I'd like that!" Bella replied, bringing out her phone. They collect eachother numbers, and Donald felt his heart race.
"Great! I'll text you!" he said, feeling happy.
"Nice! Can't wait!" Bella smiled, and for a moment, everything felt perfect.
Before they dismise, Bella said, "You know, you're really fun to hang out with. I'm happy I came over!"
"Me too!" Donald replied. "I had a blast!"
They waved goodbye, and as Donald walked home, he keep on smiling. He thought about Bella and how nice she was.
"This may be the start of something nice," he thought, feeling hopeful.
And just like that, a chance meeting turned into the beginning of a new adventure. Donald couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
