After that fun movie night, Bella and Donald started hanging out more. They became closer, and Bella loved every minute of it.
One sunny afternoon, Bella was sitting in the school courtyard with Sarah. They were enjoying some ice cream and playing ludo when Donald and his friend Mike walked over.
"Hey, what's up?" Donald said, flashing his charming smile.
"Not much, just enjoying this delicious ice cream," Bella replied, grinning.
"Looks good! Can I have a bite?" Donald asked, leaning closer with a playful grin.
"Only if I can have a bite of yours!" Bella shot back, laughing.
"Deal!" Donald said, taking a big scoop of her ice cream. Bella couldn't help but giggle as he made a funny face.
"Hey, Mike! How's training?" Sarah asked, looking at Donald's teammate.
"Pretty good! Coach Harris is tough, but we're ready for the game this Friday!" Mike replied, giving a thumbs up.
"I can't wait to see you guys play! You're gonna crush it!" Bella cheered, feeling excited.
"Thanks! We'll do our best!" Mike said, and Donald nodded in agreement.
After they finished their ice cream, Donald suggested, "Let's play some soccer in the field! I need to train!"
"Sure! I'm in!" Bella said, feeling pumped. "But I'm not very good!"
"That's okay! We're here to have fun!" Donald replied, winking.
They all headed to the field, where a few other classmates were playing. Bella felt a mix of nerves and excitement. She had never played much, but she wanted to impress Donald.
As they started playing, Bella tried her best. She kicked the ball but missed a couple of times. Donald cheered her on, "You got this, Bella! Just kick it like you mean it!"
"Okay, okay! I'll try!" Bella laughed, feeling determined.
After a few more tries, she finally kicked the ball straight to Donald. He caught it and did a cool trick. "Nice pass!" he said, grinning.
"I did it!" Bella exclaimed, jumping in excitement.
"See? You're getting better!" Donald encouraged, and Bella felt proud.
After a while, they took a break and flopped down on the grass, panting and laughing. "That was awesome! You're a natural!" Donald said, playfully nudging her.
"Thanks! But I think I need more practice!" Bella replied, still catching her breath.
Just then, Jake walked by with some friends. "What's going on here? A soccer practice or a comedy show?" he teased, smirking.
"Just having fun, Mind your business!" Donald shot back, not bothered by Jake's comments.
"Whatever, man. Just don't let Bella take your spot on the team!" Jake laughed, and Bella rolled her eyes.
"Shut up, Jake! I'm not trying to take anyone's spot!" she replied, sticking her tongue out at him.
After Jake left, Bella and Donald continued talking and joking around. They shared funny stories about their pasts, and Bella felt even closer to him.
"Did I ever tell you about the time I tried to bake cookies and burnt them all?" Bella said, laughing.
"No way! How did that happen?" Donald asked, eyes wide with amusement.
"I forgot to set the timer and I went to watch TV! When I came back, the whole kitchen smelled like smoke!" Bella said, giggling.
"That's classic! I'd love to see that!" Donald laughed, imagining the scene.
As the sun started to set, they decided to walk back to the school. Bella felt happy and light. "Thanks for hanging out today! I had so much fun!" she said, smiling.
"Me too! We should do this more often," Donald replied, looking at her with a warm smile.
Over the next few weeks, their friendship grew even stronger. They texted each other every day, sharing memes, jokes, and little updates about their lives. Bella loved how Donald always made her laugh, and she found herself looking forward to their chats.
One day, after class, Donald said, "Hey, wanna come to watch the football match this Friday? I'd love to have you there!"
"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Bella replied, feeling excited. "I'll bring my loudest cheering supporting voice!"
"Perfect! Just don't embarrass me too much," Donald joked, and they both laughed.
As the match day approached, Bella couldn't stop thinking about it. She wanted to look good but also be comfortable. She decided to wear her favorite team shirt (Real madrid jersey) and some cute sneakers.
When Friday finally reach, Bella felt butterflies in her stomach. She met Sarah before the game, and they walked to the field together. "I can't believe you're going to watch Donald play!" Sarah teased, nudging her.
"Shut up! It's just a game!" Bella said, trying to act cool.
When they arrived at the field, the atmosphere was electric. Fans were cheering, and the smell of popcorn filled the air. Bella spotted Donald warming up with his teammates.
"There he is! Look at him!" Bella said, pointing excitedly.
"Go talk to him!" Sarah encouraged, nudging Bella again.
Taking a deep breath, Bella walked over to Donald. "Hey! You ready to crush it out there?" she asked, smiling.
"Absolutely! I'm pumped!" Donald replied, looking energized. "Thanks for coming!"
As the game started, Bella cheered loudly for Donald and his team. She felt so proud watching him play. He was fast and skillful, and every time he scored, she jumped up and down, yelling.
"Go, Donald! You're amazing!" Bella shouted, waving her arms. Donald looked over and smiled, and her heart soared.
After the game, which they won, Bella ran over to congratulate him by hugging. "You were incredible out there!" she said, beaming.
"Thanks! I couldn't have done it without my biggest fan!" Donald replied, making her blush.
As they walked off the field together, Bella realized how much their friendship had grown. It felt special, and she couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
