Jack's POV
I stared at her, narrowing my eyes at her as the door to my office opened and she walked in.
"What are you doing here?" I scowled.
She chuckled and kept on walking in, as if I hadn't just made it known that she wasn't welcome here.
She settled herself on the couch and crossed her legs as she did, the action making the slit on her dress ride up and exposing more of her skin.
She stared at me, searching for what she wasn't going to find there. I wasn't attracted to her, not anymore. There was a time I would have lost my cool by seeing a glimpse of her flawless skin and itched to drag her into bed.
Right now, I was disgusted with her and the ridiculous mind game she was trying to play.
"What are you doing here?" I repeated my question. "And why did Taylor not stop you at the door?"
She snorted. "Why would Taylor stop me? I'm not a stranger to him."
"You are a stranger to his boss."
She scoffed. "Stop being ridiculous, Jack. I'm not a stranger to you."
