I pushed Melissa off me as fast as I could, groaning as my hand hit the couch and pain went through me. I winced and stood up, wondering what next I was meant to do.
Should I go to Katherine and explain to her what happened or act like I didn't care and move to my desk while I waited for the two women to get themselves out of my office?
I sighed. This was a dilemma I didn't want to be stuck in. I wasn't in a relationship but was having relationship issues. Wasn't that amusing? Just my luck, or bad luck rather.
It had to be bad luck because I had been running high on that lately?
If not for bad luck, why would a lady get pregnant for me just after a night?
If not for bad luck, why would my grandfather suddenly come up with an annoying condition to inherit the company after working my ass off for years to show him that I was capable?
If not for bad luck, why would an ex I didn't want to see anymore come back into my life?
