Chapter 23: No One To Save Her
Ines didn't wait. She kicked the man into his balls as hard as she could.
Lucian doubled over, groaning.
"You stupid-!"
That was the only opening she needed. With a burst of strength, Ines shoved past him, and bolted for the exit.
This time, she didn't turn back.
This time, she didn't stop running.
-Her lungs burned, legs ached, but she had to leave this place as soon as possible and find Raphael.
She needed Raphael. She wanted him to save her, to protect her like he did in their very first encounter.
But again, there was no escape…another man caught her and started dragging her by her hair back to Lucien.
"You dirty bitch! How dare you?"
"Aaagh! Let go, you gorilla!!!" Ines screamed, tried to fight him off, but his hold was too tight.
"Boss! Boss, come quick!"
"Bring that bitch inside. I want to have fun now."
"You will not touch me, you psychopath!"
"You heard the boss. Bring her to him."
