Chapter 2 - The First Day Within the Coral Reef Beach.

Jaymir rose to his feet and brushed the white-like sand off of himself. He continued to scan the area, getting a better look at his surroundings. It seemed Jaymir was stranded on a beach, the White sand underneath his feet was white as snow, and though it was soft, it was the softest thing he felt in his life. Though it was soft it was all over him and it caked his lips, which stuck on his lips giving him a gritty taste of it.

From the sky, he heard the breeze and seagulls around him. When he looked up to locate the seagulls, he noticed that they were no seagulls he had seen before. The seagulls had brown and black feathers with white bellies, but they did look like seagulls. Though the seagulls were unique looking, the wind caught his attention when they blew nearby trees that were growing on the beach.

These trees had trunks that looked like palm trees, which were thin and tall, but their bark was peeling off of it, looking like scales from a lizard or fish. Though the tree's look was weird and amazing, what it was producing was even more bizarre. It was producing seaweed from the top of the trees which made it look like a crossbreed of a palm tree and a weeping willow.

Suddenly, Jaymir heard a powerful, but creepy moan as the wind blew within the beach. In a state of panic, he looked around, noticing the coral-like cliffs and rocks, which were giving a haunting moan when the wind blew. Jaymir laughed it off patted his chest and took a deep breath.

However, once he took that deep breath he could smell the salt of the ocean. He closed his eyes and took another breath as the wind blew against him causing him to enter a state of calm he never witnessed before, it was peaceful, and he liked it, it was like he was free. He finally opened his eyes and noticed small pieces of material; it was like his senses were back to normal. The material that he spotted was small coral-like stones, the seaweed that fell from the trees, but seemed strong enough to use as rope, and sticks that were on the ground with a bunch of seashells.

Jaymir gathered the material and within minutes he crafted a knife, though the knife was not perfect it was the only thing he thought to make to protect himself and use as a main tool. The knife he crafted was made of a stick for the handle, which he shaved with a seashell and wrapped with seaweed. He then tied the seaweed to a coral-like stones, which he carved and sharpened with the same seashell.

Jaymir's face jolted with shock as if he had an idea and he smiled as he looked at the seaweed that fell off the trees and the coral-like stones. He continued to gather the seaweed and coral-like stones, he looked at the seashells he was using and rubbed his chin as he shared a thought, "These are good, but they won't last any longer." that is when he started to weave the seaweed. He continued to weave the seaweed until the sun started to go down, causing the sky to go a pinkish orange, with the white clouds painting the sky with streaks.

Once Jaymir finished weaving the seaweed he looked at what he made, which was a sling, he smiled with pride as he said to himself, "I still got it." he set the sling on the ground by his side and continued to gather stones and sticks, though he was gathering material his energy was quickly being drained by hunger, and the seagulls started to look delicious to him.

Jaymir started to make a campfire, putting the stones in a circle and the sticks within a teepee stance, and started to rub sticks together to start a fire, though it took a lot out of him. As sparks flew and a flame ignited, Jaymir continued to attend to the fire trying to not choke it out or have it go out of control. When he got the fire in his control, he finally took the next step, he grabbed his sling, grabbed the coral-like stones, and put it in the sling.

He carefully watched the seagulls and swung the sling above his head. Once the seagulls landed, he let go of one of the sides of the sling and launched one of the coral-like stones toward the seagulls striking them and killing one of them.
